 How to Get the Reins of the Crimson Water Strider

The Crimson Water Strider is a water strider mount that can be obtained from Nat Pagle in your Garrison Fishing Shack for 100 Nat’s Lucky Coin. In order to purchase this mount, you must have a level 3 Fishing Shack and achieve “Best Friend” status with Nat Pagle. Here’s how to get started:

1. Level up your Fishing Shack to level 3.
2. Reach “Best Friend” status with Nat Pagle. You can increase your friendship with him by turning in any fish that he requests, such as Enormous Abyssal Gulper Eel. You can catch lunkers anywhere there is fishable water, except for your Garrison. This includes Tanaan Jungle. Note that the higher your fishing skill, the better the drop rate for lunkers.
3. Obtain Frostdeep Minnow (Horde) or Lunarfall Carp (Alliance). These can be fished up at your Garrison and have a drop rate of about 1%, taking approximately 20-30 minutes to fish up. Using these items will spawn Lunarfall Cavedweller/Frostdeep Cavedweller, which has a decent chance to drop fishing items that will greatly enhance your skill such as: Hightfish Cap and Ephemeral Fishing Pole.
4. Head to Spires of Arak, specifically to the coordinates 65,21. This is a good spot to fish for Enormous Abyssal Gulper Eel, which is the best fish to catch for lunkers.
5. We recommended to fish in Pandaria for Flying Tiger Gourami (Tiger Gourami Shool – Kun-Lai Summit), Mimic Octopus (Reef Octopus Swarm – Krasarang Wilds), and Spinefish Alpha (Spinefish School – Inkgill Mere, Kun-Lai Summit), each fish initially gives 600 friendship daily. Keep in mind that farming Nat’s Lucky Coins gives you a total amount of 35000/42000 friendship.
6. Once you have accumulated enough Nat’s Lucky Coin, and meet other requirements, purchase the Reins of the Crimson Water Strider from Nat Pagle in your Garrison Fishing Shack.
