As the seventh expansion of one of the most popular MMORPG ever made, the Battle of Azeroth surely has its charm and magical appeal. And, as we all know, World of Warcraft only got better with this expansion.
However, one thing surely stands out among many other changes – Leveling. Now, this means that the BfA range of leveling is reduced by a certain amount in comparison to other expansions where the range varies from 10% to 40%.
Simply put, you’ll be able to acquire more experience playing older expansions. This is quite beneficial for those starting from scratch. But, this change also has its perks for those that are already level 110. If you’re interested in leveling in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, then, obviously, we advise buying one of our WoW Power Leveling services, but those of you who would like DIY tips, should keep on reading!

The 8.1 Patch brought us this change meaning that you need less experience to level up. Here’s what have been changed.

We have a new Leveling Guide which is actual for the Dragonflight

  • WoW Classic – From 10% to 40% per 1 level
  • Burning Crusade – From 26% to 40% per 1 level
  • Wrath of the Lich King – From 30% to 40% per 1 level
  • Warlord of Draenor – 25% per 1 level
  • Legion – 25% per 1 level
  • Battle of Azeroth – From 0.02% to 0.05% per 1 level

As we can clearly see, the older the expansion, the more leveling range is reduced. Anyway, we’re here to focus on the Battle for Azeroth.

In that light, let’s see how you can easily reach level 120 in this WoW expansion.

Wow Bfa: Leveling Guide

In case you didn’t know, leveling requires a lot of things. But, when it comes to leveling, it’s important to know that you need to optimize accordingly. This means that you can’t go the same ‘’build’’ for every class.

Therefore, knowing what you’re capabilities are and how to get levels fast is essential for leveling. And, we’re here to guide you through the whole content.

For starters, let’s take a look at some of the most crucial things to have on your mind when leveling:

  1. Choose a Suitable Zone for Leveling
  2. Use only Effective Consumables and Items
  3. Leveling for Each Class

Now, let’s dive deep into each of these segments and see what they hold in store for you.

Choose a Zone for Leveling

Wow Bfa: Leveling Guide

Same as in other expansions, you need to know exactly where to farm and acquire experience. Also, it’s crucial to move from one zone to another when the time comes. All in all, knowing where to go and what to kill is vital for leveling.

But, before we go any further into exploring the zones, let’ take a look at some useful tips you can keep in mind.

Tips for Leveling

Wow Bfa: Leveling Guide

These tips are here to ensure you get to level 120 much faster.

  • The vendor is not recommended – Automatically selling all items that you don’t need is not good in BFA. Namely, you can benefit a lot from green items or battle gear since you can always use them for reagents. Also, you’ll be able to scrap something up into an Expulsom and sell it afterward.
  • Fulfill every Quest – Doing quests will ensure you’re on the right path, and will also help you level up much faster. After completing the final storyline in each zone, you’ll get an amazing 280 Azerite gear. This one will increase your experience gain and provide your gear with a nice level bump.
  • Turn on War Mode – Basically, the most important thing to do is to turn on a War Mode. This is a new setting that only is available in BFA and increases your experience gain by 10%. This means that you can now easily level up only by farming and doing quests.
  • Prioritize Quests instead of Dungeons – Even if dungeons are a fun place to go, it’s important to prioritize quests in BFA. The experience change that was brought in 8.0 patch made dungeons less valuable for leveling.

So, try to keep these tips on your mind and you’ll do just fine.

Now, let’s explore some lands and see how can you level up faster and in which zones.

Leveling in BFA: Where to Start

Wow Bfa: Leveling Guide

Whether you’re an Alliance or a Horde player, you need to know exactly where to go and what to do in order to level u faster. Let’s see.

Alliance – Honor and Glory

So, in case you’re an Alliance follower, it’s best to start and Drustvar, than move forward to Tiragarde Sound, and end your leveling progress at Stormsong Valley

Let’s break it down a bit, shall we?

Drustvar

The mysterious land once occupied by Drust and his descendants. This land is perfect to start your leveling process. Namely, you can find some really cool stuff in this area including a dungeon Waycrest Manor that’s available for Alliance players once they hit level 110.
Following the questline in this land is crucial for leveling. Luckily, there are no many side quests to do and therefore, you’ll be sure to follow the right path.

Fallhaven is a perfect place to start your leveling process. On this quest, you will need to free the land of corruption and witches. Luckily, it’s not that hard to do it, and therefore, earing your flight path and tavern benefits will come easy after finishing this quest.

Next, is Carver’s Harbor. Now, it’s essential to know that you can take your time with this one. You will need to deal with the cult problem in order to finish this quest. And, there’s no need to hurry. Also, the quest storyline will take you a bit north of Carver’s Harbor, so be sure to use speed and energy buffs in order to cut the time as much as possible.

Catch up with Thaddeus on his quest to save his grandson. The road will lead you north of Fallhaven where you will stumble on a cave full of Troggs. Slay them all and rescue the little boy. Upon finishing this quest, you’ll earn approximately 1600 exp and some gold.

After that, go south to the Hangman’s Point that’s located a bit north of Fletcher’s Hollow. On your way down there, you can clean the whole Barrowknoll Cemetery and earn some good experience.

Once you reach the Hangman’s Point, be sure to free Lucille Waycrest of all charges and prove his innocence. This one is actually quite fun to do!

Next on your path is a fisherman’s inconvenient problem that you have to solve. Just be sure to go south and you’ll reach it before you get to the Fletcher’s Hollow.

At last, once you reach the destination – Fletcher’s Hollow, make sure to stay there a bit and solve the trouble. After that, it’s time to go back to the Hangman’s point and reap your rewards.

Next on your list is Gol Koval. However, be sure to gear up with buffs for this one as it’s quite rewarding. Any experience buff is welcome here. After that, use hearthstone to Boralus and then go to Fallhaven with wings (flying).

Time is now to go a bit west, simply follow the road from Fallhaven that leads north-west. You will shortly after reach yetis and Order of Embers. They are all over the mountains.

Your questline will be done once you find Drust Druids, they are on their way to the Arom’s Stand.

The road will lead you to Arom’s Stand where you should complete all that’s required of you. Also, make sure to go south after you’re done in this place.

On your way to the south, take a close look at the Crimson Forest, there are good quests there for you to finish. That questline is quite long and fun to do.

After that, make sure to head north until you reach Anyport where you will be able to earn something quite familiar – flight path.

You’re coming closer to the Waycrest Manor. Just follow the road and do all quests on the way to Waycrest Manor.

Lastly, heal up, gear up, and storm the Manor!

Anyhow, completing the whole questline in Drustvar will allow you to reach level 115, but only if you used all experience buffs.

It’s recommended to be in this zone until you reach level 115, and only then continue to the next area.

Tiragarde Sound

Tiragarde Sound is a land where you can get levels really quickly. Simply put, this place has a couple of dungeons where you can really excel in the field of leveling. Here they are:

  • Freehold – Suitable for characters on 114 level and higher
  • Tol Dagor – Suitable for characters on 115 level and higher
  • Siege of Boralus  – Suitable for characters on 120 level

Now, don’t simply storm these dungeons without doing quests first. Follow our lead.

Since Tiragarde Sound is a bit wider land, let’s divide quests into two categories, North and South.

Start with North ones:

Hatherford is your starting point. Go there and deal with witches, they are located at Alderson’s Lumber Yard.

Slowly transition to Thovas Base Camp and solve the mystery there.

After that, the road will lead you a bit west of Hatherford and close to Nowrtwington Estate. Make sure to do a fun quest before you reach the estate – She Sells Sea-shells! This one is going to reward you with more than 15000 exp.

Now, go a bit north from the shore and deal with beasts and troggs. You’ll be ready for troggs as you slay most of them in Drustvar.

Lastly, go into the Nowwington Estate and follow the story of Tortollan.

You’re not done yet with the north. Namely, it’s important to go a bit north-west of Norwington Estate as there are some Roughnecks to help you slay the beasts.

In the end, do the Anglepoint mystery – this one is quite fun and requires a lot of time and effort to do. You will grind and farm a lot on this quest.

That’s if for the north. Now, be ready to go south into the Bridgefort.

South here I come!

As we already said, start in Bridgefort. This place will offer you to deal with all sorts of troubles in Ashvane Foundry

Next, go back to the Bridgeport in order to take quests. However, there’s no need to travel with Flynn yet. Ignore him for now.

Your path will lead you west of Bridgefort into another town near the shore. There, you will have a chance to deal with the Gnome Stream Resort.

After that, a bit south is a place called Kenning’s Lodge, it’s full of hunters that require your help. Once you do that, go a bit north of Kenning’s Lodge into the mine and get everything clear there. Now, it’s time to return to Bridge port in order to travel with Flynn. You will face sirens and castaways on this quest. Upon finishing that one, go to the place called Freehold. There, you will need to fly over to the Vigil Hill and deal with an invasion.  After all that, return to Boralus and enjoy the ending of the questing line. Nevertheless, this place offers some really good item drops as well as a quick way to level up your character. It’s known for its difficult yet rewarding quests as well.

Stormsong Valley

The home of a powerful and well-known House Stormsong, this place is full of good quests that you can do in order to achieve level 120. To be honest, this place is a bit crowded, so it’s going to a bit hard to maneuver through the land without the need to kill everything on your path.

Anyhow, let’s start with the guide.

Before leaving Boralus, you’ll be given a chance to learn something new about the mysterious fleet of Kul Tiran. So, right after you enter Brennadam, you will meet with Brother Pyke. Simply follow the questline until you finish it.

After that, we recommend going a bit south of Brennadam and deal with Saurolisks. They are nasty venomous creatures, it’ll be fun killing them.

Proceed a bit north of Brennadam and deal with totem-enslaved citizens and their problems.

Once you do that, there’s a quest in Brineworks waiting for you. There, you will face many troubles dealing with the Mildenhall Meadery mystery.

Next on your list is a place just a bit south of Sagehold, a ship yard. From there, you can easily go into the Sagehold and storm the castle.

The path will lead you east of Sagehold and towards the Shrine of Storms where you will be able to finish one questline by raiding the Shrine of the Storm dungeon. However, that’s not the end of quests in Stormsong Valley.

There’s a big battle raging on the west, so, you will need to fly from Shrine and land into Brannadam. A Horde invasion! Stay there until you deal with filthy horde warriors and try to help the city in its defense.

After that’ all done, continue north until you reach a small village and try to deal with their problems. It’s rewarding.

Continue west and a bit north so you can defeat the Horde base in Clearcut. After that, it’s time to go south again until you reach Deadwash. There, you can find a secret treasure and reap the reward.

Anyhow, that’s not the end. Next, you can go south of Deadwash into the lands of Briarback Kraul. You will find one quite time-consuming quest there that involves slaying many quillboars.

After that, just go west into the little town and deal with their problems. This will lead you a bit north to the shore where you can face with naga. They are in Seebreeze village where you can get a new quest.

This new quest will lead you straight to Fort Daelin where you will face many enemies that are quite hard to deal with.

Lastly, you can aid tortollans by providing them with the pilgrimage scrolls that you previously found in treasure chests.

Once you complete everything, find Jaina and take her questline. This will allow you to go into several dungeons.

Upon completing all dungeons Jaina suggested, you will be level 120. So, there you go.

Horde – Lok’tar ogar

As a horde player, there’s a couple of ways to go here. First, it’s vital to understand that there’s no specific order that you can go with here. We just made this order of lands you can explore and level up based on a subjective approach.

Anyhow, you can start with the Zuldazar, and slowly transition into the Nazmir, only to go and reach level 120 at the Vol’dun

Let’s get to know these lands a bit more.

Zuldazar

Probably the best leveling zone, the Zuldazar is a place where you can quickly get your character to a decent level. Also, it’s quite an interesting place to explore since its rich with ancient cityscapes and some really old stuff.

There are difficult dungeons here as well, some of them are really hard to do, and we suggest bringing someone close to you in order to plunder them.

  • Atal’Dazar – Good for starters, feel free to come into this dungeon if you’re only level 110.
  • The Motherlode – This one is perfect for players above level 115.
  • King’s Rest – Available for both Alliance and Horde players, this dungeon holds some really cool stuff inside. Suitable for players above level 117.

However, we recommend leaving dungeons as the last part of your leveling process. It’s important to do the questline first. And, let’s dive deep into the main storyline you can follow in Zuldazar.

Zuldazar is a place with a lot of side quests, so make sure to follow the storyline in order to level up fast. You can start with:

The first thing to do is to deal with nasty troll groups in the Harbor. While you’re setting everything straight with trolls, it’s vital to pay a visit to Tortollans and do some quests there as well.

Next, the path will lead you north, into the second pyramid of Zocalo. There, you will need to deal with the blood cult. And, since you are there, we recommend opening a flight path.

After that, you can go a bit east into the land of Tal’Gurub and ensure Zul the Prophet has your help. There are good quests involving this Prophet, so make sure to do them thoroughly.

Just a bit south of Tal’Gurub is your next destination, the Warbeast Kraal. On your way there, you can do some farming, but don’t waste too much time.

From there, you should head north into the Nesingwary for your next quest. Piece of advice, open a flight path on the way back to Nesingwary as you finish the quest there.

Now, you should travel all the way south to the Warport Rastari and involve yourself in their fight hub. This one is quite interesting so try to pay attention to this quest.

After, continue to the Zocalo and Garden of Loa. These lands are north of Warport Rastari, and, you will deal with some really hard Sethraki attack.

It’s time to travel back to Nesingwary with your flight path. There, you will have the chance to slay some traitors. Also, aiding T-Rex and Rezan is quite rewarding, don’t forget that one as well.

You will be summoned north close to the Blood Gate in order to kill some trolls as they try to invade the land. So, since you’re close to the shore, why don’t you complete quests there. It’s important to do Kaja’mite quest line as it provides good exp and gold boost.

Next on your list is a quest that will lead you all the way south of Warport Rastari. Bones of Xibala is called, and it is quite interesting.

Now, go back to the Harbor and engage in the fight with mogu as the part of Tusk Isles.

This will lead you to your next assignment that involves your old friend Tortollan and his naga story. This quest will take place at Dreadful Shallows as well as in Talanji’s Rebuke.

Just a bit north of Dreadful Shallows, you will have the chance to kill Alliance castaways, do that and go batch to the Atal’Dazar where you will finish the quest line.

As we can see, this storyline is full of ups and downs where you can really earn some good levels and gold as well.

Nazmir

This place is your second destination and it involves a clear path and really easy-to-do quests. Don’t get us wrong, these quests are fun and some of them are hard, but you don’t have to run around from one place to another to do them.

This is a straightforward storyline that’s quite fun. Let’s take a look.

Start with:

Once you set foot in Nazmir, you will see why this land is so awful and full of horrors. Your task here is to go to Zul’jan Ruins and talk to Talanji in order to do some quests.

A bit west from there, you will face your first enemies while doing quest Urok, Terror of the Wetlands.

After that, head north and continue with the killing of blood trolls. Shortly after that, you will come into the Necropolis and do some bidding with Ioa Bwonsamdi. This will lead you back south so you can do 3 quests there – Monstrous Matchmaker > The Battle of Bloodfire Ravine > Zandalari Justice.  Do them in this order and you’ll be fine to grab some serious exp and gold.

Next, you will need to go a bit north of Altar of Rot and kill some blood troll cannibals that are causing problems. After that, just follow the road and do the scariest quest of all – Speaking with the Dead. The quest will lead you north of the road into the lad of blood trolls.

Once you’re done with them, go to Gloom Hollow and proceed to the Krag’wa’s Burrow. Once you do all quests there, feel free to complete some side quests. There are two good ones involving naga and pet crawg.

After that, make sure to go north into the Nazwatha and help goblins which will allow you to get a doom weapon from Warhammer 40000. There, you can also do good quests that involve mystery and other mystic stuff.

With the end of these quests, you should go straight to the Zul’jan Base and get ready for the big one – the Uldir blood trolls quest.

You can also do Underrot dungeon at the end of this storyline. This way, you will make sure to get the most levels from quests.

Vol’dun

‘’The region of Vol’dun serves as a death sentence for those exiled from Zuldazar’’, therefore be ready to face some really serious enemies here. This land is also known for its inhospitable terrain made to slow you down on your quests.

Questing in Vol’dun is not that hard and it has quite an interesting storyline. Let’s see.

You should start with:

The first thing to do while you arrive in Vol’dun is to do some easy quests at Vulpera Hideaway. After that, you should head south to Temple of Akunda, and do some really fun quests.

Next, you should do north to Atul’Aman and meet one nice sethraki guy, he will be of the essence for this questline.

Feel free to do some side quests here such as dealing with the melioration issue. This quest will take you north of Temple of Akunda.

After you’re done with that, go straight north and help some trolls in order to earn even more exp and gold.

Once you feel like it’s time to move on, simply fly to the Terrace of the Devoted, where you’ll deal with sethraki invasion. Make sure to buckle up with potions for this one.

You can now deal all sorts of side quests, but we recommend getting ready for the real thing. Simply speaking, in the Temple of Devoted, you will proceed to the main quest line ending.

Lastly, you will find yourself in the horrors of Atu’Aman. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, this quest is quite disturbing.

And there you go, after you do all this, you will definitely be level 120. Don’t forget to use BFA Leveling Tips we talked about.

Use Effective Consumables and Items

Wow Bfa: Leveling Guide

After some time, your inventory tends to get stashed with all sorts of stuff. That’s why it’s important to bring only essential stuff on your leveling quest.

Luckily, everything can be used one way or another, but, there are some items and consumables that are simply made for this occasion. Therefore, in order to level up faster and achieve a good amount of experience, it is recommended to bring only important stuff with you.

You can start with these items:

Experience Boosters

As we all know, in WoW BFA, there are some items that are made to increase your experience gain. These items are extremely important for leveling since every little bit helps.

Remember, you are not going to level up as you did in previous expansions, that’s why you need all the help you can get.

Best experience boosters:

  • Draught of Ten Lands – This item not only that increases your experience gain by 10%, but also increases all your stats by 20. However, this boost lasts only an hour, but on the other hand, it’s cheap and everyone can afford it, especially on level 110.
  • Insightful Rubellite – These are specially crafted gems that are made to increase your experience gain. You can find them in any Auction House. Also, these gems are really affordable while holding great value for the price.

Speed Buffs

Mobility is one of the key factors when it comes to farming. That’s why you need to be as fast as you can in order to level up properly. Simply speaking, being able to move quickly from one camp to another and slaying everything on your path surely contributes to the overall experience gain.

Therefore, speed buffs are important. Here are some:

  • Skystep Potion – This potion allows you to sprint faster than any mount in the game. Consider this your first option to increase speed.
  • Draenic Swiftness Potion – In case you need to swim quickly from one shore to another, this potion will increase your speed to maximum.
  • Reins of the Crimson/Azure Water Strider – Really good option if you find yourself anywhere near Kul Tiras. These mounts are able to glide across the water as well.

So there you have it, increasing your speed really matters when it comes to leveling – keep it on your mind.

Heirlooms

New patches brought us new changes, and that’s exactly what happened to Heirlooms. Namely, heirlooms are upgraded and now scale to level 120 without any complications.

However, it might be a bit expensive at first to go down this path, but surely is rewarding. Let’s take a look:

  • Battle-Hardened Heirloom Scabbard – Upgrading your heirloom weapon in order to scale up to level 120 is important, but it requires you to pay around 7,500 gold. Also, in case you didn’t upgrade your weapon in Legion, you’ll have to do it as well. Otherwise, you won’t be able to upgrade it in BFA.
  • Battle-Hardened Heirloom Armor Casing – By upgrading the heirloom armor, you’ll definitely gain more sustainability, durability, and endurance. These are all required to increase faster on the level ladder.

This will costs you approximately 5,000 and it’s surely going to pay off in the long run.

It’s crucial to upgrade your weapons in BFA – You’re going to go all the way to level 120 with them.

Other Potions and Consumables

On top of it all, here are some other useful and pretty convenient potions you can use.

  • Potion of Prolonged Power – Incredibly important potion to power up your character for a short time. Namely, you can increase your primary stats with this potion in case you need a bit more muscle to handle the job.
  • Defiled Augment Rune – This one gives you an hour of damage increase which you can use to farm better and faster.
  • Drums of the Mountain – Harder quests require more muscle, therefore this one surely comes in helpful. Also, it’s quite convenient for classes that are not familiar with Heirloom and Bloodlust.
  • Crispy Bacon – Increasing your food buff timer surely is important for leveling. With Crispy Bacon, you can benefit from it, but no longer than 6 hours.

Food and Beverages

Every character needs to eat and heal from time to time. That’s why it’s vital for you to know which food to use and what beverages to consume. We strongly recommend eating either Stat Foods or Sugar Fish Feast.

Both of these are good and they both hold their own advantages. So, be careful when it comes to decision – Choose the one that suits you more.

Leveling for Each Class

Wow Bfa: Leveling Guide

World of Warcraft is known for its classes and wide range of skill sets. To be honest, that’s maybe even the most interesting part of the game. And, knowing how to best use advantages of each class can move you forward on the leveling ladder.

In that light, let’s start with classes. We will mostly speak about the essential things you need to know for each class.

Death Knight

Came to life in Lich King expansion, Death Knights are known for their versatility and unique set of skills. You can choose between:

  • Blood – Great tanking capabilities. Blood Death Knights are good for leveling as they can survive for a long time.
  • Frost – Damage dealing skill set. Frost Death Knights are strongest when it comes to killing, however, they lack a bit of survivability.
  • Unholy – The mixture of both with a touch of necromancy. Unholy Death Knights are perfect for leveling in BFA.

Also, it’s important to wear Heirlooms with Death Knights. Only then you can hope to reach level 120 in no time.

Demon Hunter

Coming straight from the Burning Legion, Demon Hunters are quite strong and deadly class. Their ‘’master’’ Illidan Stormrage surely trained Demon Hunters to be unspeakably good at mostly everything.

They have two specializations, and both are great for leveling.

  • Havoc – This one is definitely the best specialization for leveling as it has many damage capabilities and great sustainability.
  • Vengeance – Vengeance is more focused on ‘’handling’’ your enemies rather than killing them. Therefore, it’s not as good for leveling as the Havoc.

The good news is that you can always switch between specializations and simply choose the one that you find more suitable for the occasion. There’s no cost to switching, of course.

Druid

Druids are also one of the best leveling classes since they can shapeshift into multiple beasts and handle their quests. Anyhow, druids have four specializations for you to choose which makes them quite successful when it comes to leveling.

  • Balance – Great spec if you like to be a range Damage Dealer. This one is definitely a good one for leveling.
  • Feral – This one is focused on melee damage dealing and surely allows you to pack some serious damage. Good for leveling, but it lacks mobility.
  • Guardian – Guardian is a specialization that enables you to tank a lot of damage. This makes you quite durable in long fights and hard quests.
  • Restoration – Lastly, restoration is a healing specialization. It’s important to learn this specialization if you want to have at least some sustainability. Also, good for leveling.

Another important thing for Druids is that they need to wear their Heirlooms. Without them, it’s not the same.

Hunter

Similar to the Demon Hunter, Hunter’s class specializes in the killing, and therefore, it’s good for leveling. Now, there are a couple of ways to go here, and you simply can’t go wrong when it comes to leveling.

  • Beast Mastery – This specialization is quite good for leveling since it involves pets. You can unlock the full potential of your pet by following this specialization.
  • Marksmanship – In case you like to do it all by yourself, buffing marksmanship spec is the way to go. You will focus more on the hunter and increase the damage he deals – Also good for leveling.
  • Survival – Turns your hunter into a melee berserk killing machine. This spec is a combination of hunter’s and pet’s strengths and it deals a lot of damage.

One more thing that’s important for the Hunter class is to use Heirloom items.

Mage

Casting firebolts and polymorph, Mages are one of the most fun classes to play with. As for leveling, mages mostly rely on potions and sustain, and that’s why you need to equip yourself with lots of consumables.

  • Arcane – Arcane Blast and many other AoE spells, this specialization is the best for leveling when it comes to mages.
  • Fire – Single target oriented specialization that deals damage to only one enemy. Not so great for leveling, but certainly is good for dungeons and quests.
  • Frost – Allows you to summon water elementals in order to tank damage and deal more damage. This one is also good for leveling.

Using Heirlooms items is crucial for mages, don’t forget to wear them.

Monk

Heavy damage dealing class that depends on energy and mana – Monks are perfect melee tanks that deal a lot of damage that can help you in your way of leveling. Leveling mostly depends on the specialization, and therefore, be careful what you choose.

  • Brewmaster – Best for leveling as it ensures great damage capabilities and solid survivability.
  • Windwalker – Boosts your agility and damage, but it’s not that good when it comes to durability. Also good for leveling, but brewmaster spec is better.
  • Mistweaver – This one is quite good for dungeons and that’s where you should use it. Besides that, it’s not that level-oriented spec.

Heirlooms are also important for leveling as it makes it easier to gain experience.

Paladin

Heavily-armored and quite strong on their feet, Paladins really need all sorts of helps for leveling. These light warriors have their good and bed sides when it comes to leveling.

  • Holy – Holy is a healing oriented spec and it helps your allies in the battle, therefore, it’s good for leveling only in groups.
  • Protection – This spec is for tanking as it protects you from harm, and also provides ability to taunt multiple enemies.
  • Retribution – Retribution is damage-dealing spec and it’s perfect for farming and leveling.

Needless to say, Heirlooms are essential for paladins.

Priest

This class is perfect for healing or ranged damage dealing. There are a couple of ways to go here and all of them are great for leveling.

  • Holy – Best for healing your allies as they kill everything on your path. Great for raids and dungeons.
  • Discipline – Also focuses on healing, but mostly damages your enemies. There’s also an ability to cast shields and absorb damage. This one is perfect for leveling.
  • Shadow – Damage dealing spec that ensures your enemies are trapped from a great distance. Also solid for leveling.

Using Heirloom items is also pretty vital for leveling here.

Warlock

You can deal a lot of damage with Warlocks as they are designed to inflict great portions of damage. But, there are lots of ways to prioritize Warlocks for leveling. Let’s see.

  • Affliction – Enables you to do lots of damage over time and therefore, this is not that great for leveling compared to the other two specs.
  • Demonology – Allows you to summon demons to fight by your side – perfect for leveling.
  • Destruction – This one is more oriented to single target damage inflicting, but it’s also good for leveling.

Don’t forget to wear Heirlooms, they can really make a change when it comes to leveling.

Warrior
Warriors are tanks and as such, they can take a lot of damage. On the other hand, you can make your warrior deal damage as well.

  • Arms – Not that good for leveling as you need to strategically move around and search for an opening.
  • Fury – Fury is a good spec for leveling and it offers you to deal massive damage in close combats.
  • Protection – Allows you to protect yourself and your allies while stunning your enemies. Easy for leveling.

Heirloom items are essential for Warriors if you want to level up faster.

Rogue

Probably the best damage dealers in the whole game, Rouges are designed to kill and not to tank. Therefore, you will need to be quite careful when you pick your fights with this class.

  • Assassination – Ensures you get the kill, but slowly, that’ why this spec is not that good for leveling.
  • Outlaw – This one is for direct combat and allows you to kill your foes quickly – perfect for leveling.
  • Subtlety – Subtlety is a stealth-focused spec and offers you to kill your enemies without them knowing what happened – solid for leveling.

Getting Heirloom items for Rouge is of the essence when it comes to leveling.

Shaman

Shamans are quite versatile as they can deal damage from a distance or in close combat, also, they can be healers. That tells us that choosing a certain spec can really affect your leveling.

  • Elemental – Prioritize range damage dealing and is great for leveling.
  • Enhancement – Offers close combat boosts and is solid for leveling but not that good like elemental.
  • Restoration – Allows you to heal your allies and yourself and it’s perfect for durability in fights.

Being a Shaman really requires Heirloom items for leveling.

In light of everything we said above, leveling in BFA is quite fun and interesting. We hope that this guide made it easier for you to acquire levels faster and reach level 120.

Now, it’s up to you to log in and fight!
