10 Versus 25 GotR Achievement Differences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There aren\u2019t many WoW raids with two variations of GotR meta-achievements. Later expansions abandoned this idea in favor of stretching the number of participants and adding another difficulty level – Mythic. So, we may say that these meta-achievements are examples of endangered species. There is even an additional achievement in a 25-ppl version that does not exist in a 10-ppl variation. All others are technically the same, but because of the number of players, they sometimes require a different approach to success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both meta-achievements take place inside the Icecrown Citadel raid – the last and the most difficult instance for the Wrath of the Lich King Classic. It is located in the Icecrown zone and has 13 encounters with Arthas Menethil, the Lich King himself at the very end. You may find the entrance to the instance by coordinates: 53.4 85.8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closest flight point is Dalaran, actually, so it\u2019s quite easy to get to the raid right after you\u2019ve teleported into the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The raid has two variations for 10 and 25 players and the first ever complete heroic mode. So, basically, there are four variations of this raid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loot is great, surely. The most famous loot items are a legendary weapon – Shadowmourne<\/a>, two-handed axe for Paladins, Death Knights, and Warriors, and the Lich King\u2019s horse – Invincible<\/a>. Now this is a horse! Each version of the Glory of the Icecrown Raider meta-achievement rewards players with a huge amount of achievement points and a mount. Truly unique flying wyrms, which haven\u2019t been copied or multiplied yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reins of the Bloodbathed Frostbrood Vanquisher<\/a> is a reward for the 10 players\u2019 version of the GotR achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 25 people variation, players will receive the Reins of the Icebound Frostbrood Vanquisher<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
