    The catalyst is available through the Episode: Revenant season pass at Rank 145, which was time-gated until Act Two. Once you reach that rank it appears directly on the season pass screen.<\/p>\n

    The catalyst adds One for All: hitting three separate targets increases damage for a moderate duration. Fully upgrading it takes 500 kills with Alethonym.<\/p>\n

    The Shuro Chi checkpoint in Last Wish is the quickest spot to grind those kills, though playing with the weapon casually upgrades it soon enough.<\/p>\n

    Shots deal 40% increased damage against minor combatants, explode in a 5 metre radius, and kills create a Vestige that travels up to 40 metres toward you. Firing into Champions, minibosses or bosses impales them, dealing damage every 0.8 seconds for 4 seconds and creating a Vestige on each tick for six total, and spikes can be stacked.<\/p>\n

    Is Alethonym good in PvE?<\/h2>\n

    Vestigial Alchemy is the reason to run it: at 50% energy the weapon drops Special ammo bricks and at 100% it drops Heavy bricks for you and your allies, which is the ammo-support job it is built around.<\/p>\n

    It cannot match special ammo grenade launchers for damage, and the One for All catalyst closes part of that gap, making it a solid pick for players who want to support without completely sacrificing damage.<\/p>\n
