Earn FFXIV gil<\/a> without crafting through roulettes, treasure maps, FATE rewards and Deep Dungeon loot, or build a selling routine around crafting, gathering and retainer ventures. For income without the Market Board, use direct duty rewards, Doman Enclave donations and items you can sell to NPCs.<\/p>\n

Choose a gil method that fits your character<\/h2>\n

Start with activities you already have unlocked. Check sale history before committing your time or savings: prices and competition differ between Worlds and data centers.<\/p>\n\n

How to make gil without the Market Board<\/h2>\n

Daily roulettes and ordinary duties<\/h3>\n

Roulettes award gil directly, alongside tomestones and, for certain roulettes, materia-related rewards. The Adventurer in Need<\/strong> bonus adds gil and experience; eligible rewards can include Cracked Clusters for materia exchanges.<\/p>\n

Choose the requested role when it fits your plans, but avoid making repeated bonus farming your entire routine. Quests, dungeons, levequests and Challenge Log entries provide other direct income routes.<\/p>\n

Doman Enclave donations<\/h3>\n

Donate unwanted items to the restoration basket and complete its associated quests to develop the gratuity rate. At full development, the rate reaches 200%<\/strong>, with weekly receipts of up to 40,000 gil.<\/p>\n

Allagan Silver Pieces from long retainer ventures are one option for donations; unwanted loot can serve the same purpose. Count the item's ordinary NPC sale value when judging your gain: the full payment is not all additional profit.<\/p>\n

Grand Company seals into NPC sales<\/h3>\n

Expert Delivery<\/strong> unlocks at Sergeant Second Class<\/strong>; speak with your Grand Company Personnel Officer to submit eligible equipment for seals. The item must have an NPC sale value and qualify as Aetherial, green or blue equipment; dungeon, trial and tomestone-vendor gear can qualify, while job gear recoverable through the Calamity Salvager cannot.<\/p>\n

Normal-quality and high-quality versions give the same seal reward, which depends on item level. Check the delivery list before farming a particular duty.<\/p>\n

One creator demonstrated a conversion using seal purchases that cost 600 seals and sold to NPCs for 360 gil each. The same demonstration used Seal Sweetener effects to increase seal gains and recommended saving them for a sustained farming session. Use the NPC sale route when you want immediate payment; crafting materials and glamour prisms offer a separate route through player sales.<\/p>\n

Free Company submarines<\/h3>\n

Submarine farming needs Free Company housing and access to its workshop. Send voyages to salvage destinations such as Deep Sea Site 4<\/strong>, Concealed Bay, Wreckage of the Headway, Wreckage of the Discovery and Unidentified Derelict, then sell the recovered jewelry to NPCs.<\/p>\n

Buying submarine components from other players can shorten the setup process. Weigh that expense against how long you intend to keep running voyages.<\/p>\n

Crucible of the Unbroken gil and weekly exchanges<\/h2>\n

Crucible Ranking Season 1 began October 25, 2026 at 10 p.m. PDT, equivalent to October 26 at 5 a.m. GMT. Ranked attempts require Third Degree<\/strong>, the Participate in Rankings option and recording your scores on your Home World; standings use your last three attempts on each board.<\/p>\n

For weekly sales, complete the relevant Challenge Log objectives and exchange the white currency for the orange currency where needed. A creator's October 1 demonstration estimated 160 orange currency from the first three boards each week, with a hairstyle costing 500 and the pitchfork costing 100.<\/p>\n

That creator quoted roughly 3.6 million gil for the hairstyle and 700,000 for the pitchfork; a September 28 demonstration put the hairstyle near 5 million. Use those as examples of what sold during those recordings, then compare the two rewards on your own market before spending currency.<\/p>\n

FATE farming for Bicolor Gemstone sales<\/h2>\n

FATE rewards include Bicolor Gemstones, which you can exchange for enemy materials; completing more FATEs raises each zone's Shared FATE rank and unlocks additional vendor options. Sell materials while working toward the ranks needed for voucher purchases.<\/p>\n

At the required maximum ranks, Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers offer a sellable alternative to materials; 500 vouchers can instead be exchanged for a Wivre Horn or Fallen Angel Wings. Compare the finished reward's price with the value of the vouchers you would spend.<\/p>\n

A creator farming Dawntrail vouchers used Heritage Found<\/strong> or Living Memory, highlighted access to a full level-100 kit when synced there, and quoted about 125,000 gil per voucher in September. Their suggested listing size was three to six vouchers at a time.<\/p>\n

FATE income still feels worthwhile but slow and crowded to some players, who report fewer completions when farming alone.<\/p>\n

Treasure maps and Deep Dungeons without crafting<\/h2>\n

Buy maps from other players or obtain them through gathering; gatherers can collect a map daily without demanding endgame gathering stats. Maps marked for eight players can open a treasure dungeon, where much of the potential profit comes from.<\/p>\n

These maps can often be run with three to five people, but agree on loot distribution before entering: groups may let everyone roll or reserve rolls for the map owner. Choose a party whose rules match what you want from the session.<\/p>\n

Palace of the Dead, Heaven-on-High and Eureka Orthos<\/h3>\n

Deep Dungeon income comes from randomized loot, with higher floors offering different sacks and access to more valuable rewards. Pick a target reward before committing to repeated runs.<\/p>\n

Eureka bunny FATEs<\/h3>\n

The bunny route typically uses Pyros or Hydatos FATEs to obtain treasure chests, which can contain direct gil, Logograms and rare rewards such as the Eldthurs Horn<\/strong>. Rare FATEs in these areas offer other sellable minions and boss materials, with participants commonly calling their appearances in chat.<\/p>\n

Follow those calls between bunny attempts when the rewards interest you.<\/p>\n

Bozja clusters<\/h3>\n
