It has a very low drop chance from individual packs (well under 1%), but you will guarantee getting it by reaching the final milestone on the event tracker by opening enough packs, even if you don’t get it as a random item drop along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s how it works<\/strong>: You’ll queue into a lobby with up to 30 players. Once in, you’ll go through a fast series of 1v1 matches (each full match lasts 5 minutes) on various Arena maps, including Encore, Habitat, and Party Crasher, each with multiple spawn points. The game assigns both you and your opponent the exact same Legend, weapon loadout, and spawn location every round, ensuring a mirrored fight based purely on how you handle the situation and your aim. A leaderboard on the side tracks your wins throughout the match session, letting you see how you stack up against others in the lobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, the mode will have two phases regarding abilities. Initially, from the event launch on June 24th until July 15th, Legend abilities and healing are disabled in Arenas: Duels. This is designed to put the focus squarely on core gunplay and movement skills \u2013 no tactical zaps, no ultimate rushes, no healing, just you and your opponent fully armed! However, excitingly, from July 15 through August 5th, the developers plan to flip a switch and turn Legend abilities back ON for Arenas: Duels. This will add a whole new tactical layer to the 1v1 format for the remainder of the mode’s run, likely changing which Legends feel strongest in this head-to-head setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
