July 8\u201315: Kenly College Re-Opens, Double XP Goodness, and a Wild Global Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kicking off the first full week of July with a bang (and possibly a puff of green gas), the Kenly College Expedition is back in rotation! Fair warning: its location on your map might look a little different these days. Kenly is listed among the D.C. Outskirts locations (near the Pentco Fairview Power Plant) rather than in the main city. Remember, Kenly runs on a rotation \u2013 open for about a week, then taking a couple of weeks off \u2013 so if you haven\u2019t explored its\u2026 unique campus or still need to finish its objectives, now\u2019s your chance. Why tackle Kenly? Primarily, completing the entire Expedition for the first time (or the first time each time it\u2019s open) will net you the unique Diamondback<\/a> Exotic rifle! After you\u2019ve earned it once, repeats will yield an exotic cache or component. If you’re after a better roll, you can also try your luck with Exotic caches from the Global Event vendor using your hard-earned stars (more on that later).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the excitement this week is a sweet Double XP bonus! This isn\u2019t just confined to Kenly; it applies to any activity you jump into across PvE (and beyond). This 2\u00d7 XP is active for the first 15 Field Proficiency\/SHD levels you gain this week, making it perfect for rocketing up those SHD levels, Seasonal ranks, or just generally feeling like an XP vacuum. Think of it as a nice global event bonus on top of your normal gameplay, enhancing all your global event activities and regular playtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And joining the party is the return of a highly anticipated Global Event! Get ready for \u201cReanimated\u201d running July 8\u201315! If you\u2019re new to Global Events, a quick heads-up: you generally need to choose between the Global Event\u2019s unique modifiers and the current Season\u2019s Global Difficulty Modifiers \u2013 you typically can\u2019t run both at the same time (i.e., you disable the Seasonal effects when you activate the GE). Think of it as choosing your flavor of chaos with global and activity modifiers. Compared to other events like the golden bullet global event or shd exposed global event, Reanimated offers a unique playstyle!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Event \u201cReanimated\u201d: Get Ready for Green Goo, Explosions, and No Reanimating!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This fan-favorite event brings glorious<\/em>, headshot-fueled chaos. The main mechanic is simple and delightfully messy: enemies killed via headshot explode into a cloud of poisonous green corrosive gas, which lingers to melt anything standing in it. As an added global event bonus, headshot kills also prevent those enemies from reanimating (enemies in this event will otherwise get back up for a second round unless finished with a headshot \u2013 hence the name \u201cReanimated\u201d<\/em>). In practice, a well-placed headshot can turn a whole group of bad guys into goo in seconds, stopping them from getting back up for round two and leaving them a vulnerable enemy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
