A large chunk of the map is open water, so the size doesn’t mean constant long infantry runs.

Yumeji — Majestic Ikoi Resort. Tight hotel-room fighting mixed with outdoor pools and exposed exterior spaces. Close-range weapons dominate indoors; rifles and DMRs stay useful outside. The hotel and villas can be heavily destroyed, so cover shifts as the match goes on.

Kaze — Mifune Landing and Tsuru Gate. The central rotation anchor. Squads push northwest, northeast, or south using rocks and vegetation for cover. Holding Kaze is less about one flag and more about preserving access to every surrounding island.

Dusk — Moon Shore and Sunrise Harbor. Close-quarters fighting around a U-shaped naval channel, with houses, warehouses, and a treeline for cover. Engineers can watch boats from shore; Recon gets use from the upper terrain. Move through buildings rather than standing exposed beside the harbor.

Mist — Tsuru Air Base and Tsuru Port. Military infrastructure and elevated positions, both destructible. The runway supports brief touch-and-go landings but stays exposed. Crossing between Port and Air Base, Crag Arch offers cover from long sightlines, and rubble near a downed helicopter gives temporary protection mid-crossing.

Secondary landmarks. Mt. Hoshizora and unnamed islands work for Deploy Beacon placement and staging; Hitode Lagoon’s cliff suits temporary long-range overwatch, though threats can approach from several directions. Treat all of these as temporary stops.

Faction positioning. NATO starts closer to Tsuru Air Base and Port; Pax Armata starts closer to Sunrise Harbor and Moon Shore, with an easier on-foot route onto the main chain. Both headquarters have calmer internal waterways for launching boats.

Buy Battlefield 6 Campaign Boost

Leave the grind to us!

        Buy now!

Best Rotations

Prioritize Kaze early and hold its two sectors — don’t chase every outer flag with your whole team; anchor infantry centrally and let vehicles cover wider rotations. RHIBs move squads fast but aren’t built for prolonged fights, so approach defended islands from more than one angle.

Before a defended shoreline, dive rather than swim on the surface — it clears existing spots, keeps you unspottable underwater, and costs incoming bullets damage the farther they travel. Bridges get camped; shallow inland waterways let infantry bypass some of them without relying entirely on the main crossings.

Destruction

The resort, Air Base, and Port structures can all be torn down over a match, opening new sightlines as elevated positions disappear. Destroy high ground before pushing a defended sector — the map you started with isn’t the one you’ll finish on.

Dynamic Wave System

Open-ocean waves push boats off course and disrupt aim, but also briefly block sightlines and give cover. Inland water is calmer but puts you closer to shore-based Engineers. Underwater, bullets lose damage over distance, diving clears spots, and Drag and Revive still works. Beaching a boat can leave it stuck. Use rough water for concealment on a flank, but don’t expect to fight there.

Naval Vehicles

The 7.7m NSW RHIB is a fast four-seat transport with a mounted machine gun, low durability, and enough agility to hide behind waves — built for flanking and rotations, not slugging it out with an RCB-90.

The RCB-90 is the heavier option: two seats, more health, and a front ramp that opens automatically near shore, letting anyone on the team spawn from it as infantry.
