One character finishing the chain unlocks Black Temple for your alts too \u2014 you only need to do this once per account. Quest progress itself doesn&#8217;t carry over, and it&#8217;s not yet fully clear whether an alt&#8217;s account-wide access also hands over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowhead.com\/tbc\/item=32649\/medallion-of-karabor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Medallion of Karabor<\/a> and its <strong>40 Shadow Resistance<\/strong>. After the fight, speak to <strong>Seer Olum<\/strong> behind his platform to continue the Black Temple attunement chain.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tempest Keep: Al&#8217;ar and Ruse of the Ashtongue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"12\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowhead.com\/tbc\/quest=10946\/ruse-of-the-ashtongue\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ruse of the Ashtongue<\/a> \u2014 kill <strong>Al&#8217;ar<\/strong> in Tempest Keep while wearing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowhead.com\/tbc\/item=31946\/ashtongue-cowl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ashtongue Cowl<\/a> disguise.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Dying and remaining dead still preserves the disguise and gives quest credit. However, if you&#8217;re battle-rezzed, <strong>re-equip the Ashtongue Cowl before Al&#8217;ar dies<\/strong>, because being resurrected removes the disguise. This is an easy step to lose a raid lockout on, so make sure the quest is active and the Cowl is equipped before the pull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Need more than the individual attunement kills from Phase 2?
