Purchases arrive as Mog letters in game, so you collect them from the Delivery Moogle. The main things that trip people up are payment method limits and a full mailbox, both of which have fixes.<\/p>\n

What you can buy and where<\/h2>\n

The store carries optional items including Fantasia, minions, mounts, and seasonal event items. Barring certain exceptions, optional items cannot be sold or traded to other players. For service accounts and other optional services, you go to the Mog Station instead of the store.<\/p>\n

If you pay with Steam Wallet or FFXIV Coins, the displayed prices are the Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 version prices respectively. FFXIV Coins are the only payment type you can use if you only play the Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2 version. Coins are redeemed when the FINAL FANTASY XIV application is launched, and you cannot add Coins to an account that already holds 500,000 Coins or more. Coins purchased from the Microsoft Store only work on the Xbox version, and Coins purchased from the Nintendo eShop only work on the Nintendo Switch 2 version.<\/p>\n

How to gift FFXIV store items<\/h2>\n

You can purchase items for your service account or as gifts to friends. When you buy, make sure you select the correct item and character, because the purchase cannot be reversed. Optional items cannot be traded, with the exception of the "Promise" items relating to the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.<\/p>\n

Checking your purchase history<\/h2>\n

You can view your purchase history in two places: the FFXIV Online Store under Your profile > "View Purchase History", and the Mog Station under "Others" > "Payment History".<\/p>\n

Fixing undelivered items<\/h2>\n

Items you buy are sent by Mog letter in game, so check your mailbox at the Delivery Moogle. If something has not arrived, delete unwanted letters from your mailbox, since there is a limit to how many letters with enclosed items you can store, then select the Reward Delivery Request button. Delivery is reattempted automatically once space is freed. Timing depends on how long ago you bought the item: within 10 days of purchase, up to one hour may be required for re-delivery, and more than 10 days since purchase, up to 24 hours may be required. Each item is delivered separately in its own letter, so you need mailbox space equal to the quantity of items you purchased.<\/p>\n

Account restrictions and subscription changes<\/h2>\n

You cannot move a purchased item to another character after the fact, so confirm your characters in game to check you received what you bought. If you cancel your subscription and reactivate it later, you will still be able to use items purchased from the FFXIV Online Store. Square Enix's stated policy is to store all player data, not just optional items, during active provisions of FINAL FANTASY XIV services, termination of service accounts, or where automatic renewals have been suspended, but it cannot guarantee that all player data will be stored indefinitely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
