No WoW Midnight Season 3 release date has been announced. What is known is the order of events: Season 3 kicks off shortly after the launch of Eclipse, Midnight's final major content update. Eclipse itself has no date either, so the timeline stops at "after Eclipse" for now.<\/p>\n
Eclipse is described as the final major content update to Midnight, where the battle between the Light and Void escalates and the Light-wielding forces move to strike at Xal'atath and her Devouring Host. Season 3 begins shortly after Eclipse launches, and it arrives with new raids and a PvP season.<\/p>\n
That means the Season 3 date is chained to the Eclipse date, not to a season calendar of its own. Until Eclipse is dated, Season 3 cannot be dated.<\/p>\n
Eclipse brings an 8-boss raid in which you fight void enemies, Titan constructs, living Azerite, and Xal'atath. The first Legendary of Midnight, and of the Worldsoul Saga, is Midnight's Edge, a caster weapon obtained from the Worldcore raid.<\/p>\n
Season 3 delivers a mix of legacy dungeons alongside the newest Eclipse dungeon, Thraegar's Stand. Thraegar's Stand is part of the Season 3 Mythic+ rotation.<\/p>\n

Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr is being cut from five bosses to four in Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+ by deactivating the Lost Dwarves encounter, and Emberon's Purging Flames will trigger at health thresholds instead of on a repeating energy cycle. The Stonecore is getting a full revamp, visually and mechanically, with new designs for every enemy and boss encounter. Iron Docks gets a substantial refresh with all four boss encounters updated and a reworked Iron Stars design. In Sanguine Depths, caster pack density and cast-bar abilities are being reduced, with Dark Acolytes and Wicked Oppressors combined into a single creature type. In The Underrot, Elder Leaxa's encounter is being updated to place less emphasis on interrupts, and Cragmaw is being changed to encourage use of more of the arena. In Maisara Caverns, captive and buff locations in the opening section are being changed and the Muro'jin and Nekraxx encounter revised for clarity; in Magisters' Terrace, the library event gets new paths and new books, and the Degentrius encounter is being updated.<\/p>\n Season 3 Mythic+ Rewards<\/h2>\nSeason 3 adds an additional reward tier for the top 5% of players and updates eligibility for both the top 1% and top 5% seasonal rewards. From Season 3 onward, top 1% and top 5% Mythic+ rewards are awarded based on your ranking within your specialization rather than your overall ranking among all Mythic+ players \u2014 a Protection Warrior's eligibility, for example, is measured against other Protection Warriors.<\/p>\n Delves in Season 3<\/h2>\nSeason 3 continues Valeera Sanguinar's journey with an increased level cap, new Curios, and a new Nemesis to face. Existing Delves also get additional variations. Astalor is the Nemesis you face when Season 3 begins.<\/p>\n The Update Before Season 3<\/h2>\nThe next content update to Midnight is 12.1.5, which continues the story beneath Ula'tek's chamber and into Kith'ix's prison. It also brings a Mid-Season 2 refresh called Ascendant Venomstones. Talebound, a new PvE action RPG mode, arrives with the Echoes of the Worldcore content update and launches with four stories, including Darkhaven.<\/p>\n |
