Aqir Invasions are zone-wide public events in World of Warcraft: Midnight patch 12.1.5 that take place in Eversong<\/a> or Zul'Aman<\/a> for ten minutes every hour<\/strong>. During that window you complete a series of public events across the zone one after another, then face an intense boss fight. Each invasion has six scenario types \u2014 three combat-focused and three non-combat-focused \u2014 and combat scenarios can roll one of eight possible affixes.<\/p>\n

When do Aqir Invasions start?<\/h2>\n

Invasions occur once per hour and last for ten minutes. The event runs continuously through that window, with champions tackling public events across the zone one after another before the boss fight. You are rewarded for completing as many objectives as possible before the ten-minute window closes.<\/p>\n

Where do Aqir Invasions happen?<\/h2>\n

The events are zone-wide and take place in Eversong<\/a> or Zul'Aman<\/a>. Because they cover the entire area rather than a single spot, you move between objectives across the zone during the ten minutes. Both zones are part of the 12.1.5 content update's return to Quel'Thalas and Zul'Aman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How do the six scenarios work?<\/h2>\n

Each invasion features six scenario types, split evenly between three combat-focused and three non-combat-focused scenarios. The combat scenarios are the ones that can carry an affix. Non-combat scenarios round out the event, so you alternate between fighting and other objectives as you push through the zone.<\/p>\n

The eight combat affixes<\/h2>\n

Combat scenarios can have one of eight possible affixes:<\/p>\n\n

Aqir Burrower<\/strong><\/td>Several aqir burrow through the area and knock anyone into the sky if they get close<\/td><\/tr>
Void Sphere<\/a><\/td>Void Spheres move around the area to try to trap anyone within them<\/td><\/tr>
Astalor's Anguish<\/a><\/td>Astalor's Anguish<\/a> Crystals damage the aqir and any adventurers caught in their blast<\/td><\/tr>
Swarms!<\/a><\/td>All aqir enemies are replaced with swarms of smaller aqir<\/td><\/tr>
Aqir Elites<\/a><\/td>All aqir enemies are replaced with fewer but more powerful aqir<\/td><\/tr>
Void Infestation<\/a><\/td>Some aqir are infested with the void and explode after a few seconds in combat, damaging players and infecting other aqir<\/td><\/tr>
Web Weavers<\/a><\/td>Chance for an Aqir Webweaver to spawn; if their channel is not interrupted, they cover a player in webs<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n

How to participate<\/h2>\n

Show up in Eversong<\/a> or Zul'Aman<\/a> during the ten-minute window and join the public events as they spawn across the zone. Grouping up matters: champions who band together are rewarded for clearing as many objectives as they can before the window closes. The event ends with a boss fight, so save enough of the window to reach it.<\/p>\n

Aqir Invasions in the 12.1.5 patch<\/h2>\n

Aqir Invasions arrive with the Midnight 12.1.5 content update, which launches October 13<\/strong> with weekly maintenance.
