Hulk, Hawkeye and Phoenix came out of it as the clearest winners, while Gorr, Scarlet Witch, Gambit and Devil Dinosaur were toned down. A live Diamond+ ranking of the same season, built on win rate, pick rate and ban rate, instead puts Devil Dinosaur, Magik, Hulk, Peni Parker, Rocket Raccoon and Gorr at the top.<\/p>\n<p>Marvel Rivals is a hero shooter where balance shifts every mid-season patch, so the picks below are split between what the patch changed and what the ranked stats currently reward.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"s-tier-after-the-october-9-patch\">S-tier after the October 9 patch<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hulk:<\/strong> Gamma Ray Gun projectile speed rose from 80 m\/s to <strong>120 m\/s<\/strong> and Gamma Grenade self-hits now generate 100 energy instead of 50, so he reaches Smash form faster. With the Wolverine Team-Up, Furious boosts attack and movement speed by 25% instead of 20%, Unstoppable&#39;s cooldown fell from 60 to 45 seconds, and its health trigger rose from 300 to 400.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hawkeye:<\/strong> Piercing Arrow speed went from a 130\u2013195 m\/s range to 140\u2013210 m\/s, Hypersonic Arrow&#39;s initial hit width grew from 3 m to 5 m, and Crescent Slash recovery was shortened. The Cloak &amp; Dagger Team-Up now gives Moonlit Slash self-healing equal to the healing it deals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phoenix:<\/strong> Cosmic Flames damage rose from 60 to 65, Spark detonation direct damage from 40 to 45 and explosion damage from 15 to 20, and Endsong Inferno applies <strong>two Sparks<\/strong> per hit instead of one. Spark&#39;s self-heal was replaced by 5 Bonus Health per application for 4 seconds, capped at 25.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"a-tier-quietly-better\">A-tier: quietly better<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cyclops:<\/strong> Optic Blast damage rose from 22 to 23, Ricochet Force cooldown reduction per hit went from 0.25 to 0.3 seconds, and Ruby Rage&#39;s energy cost dropped from 3700 to 3400. The Gambit Team-Up extends Kinetic Kin from 6 to 8 seconds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jubilee:<\/strong> Sparking Sprint now grants 25 health per second of self-healing, Firework Finale&#39;s spell field healing rose from 150 to 180 per second, and the Blade Team-Up adds 15 health per second to nearby allies for 6 seconds during Vampiric Kin. Dazzling Detonation&#39;s blind fell from 1.5 to <strong>0.8 seconds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"nerfed-heroes-to-pick-with-care\">Nerfed heroes to pick with care<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gorr the God Butcher:<\/strong> Shadow Scythe base damage fell from 55 to 50, Shockwave from 60 to 55, and Twilight of the Gods&#39; duration from 12 to 10 seconds.
