Yes \u2014 the Whirlwind Axe<\/a> grind is still worth it in WoW Forever. The questline is in the beta, and the axe is an incredibly powerful weapon and a fantastic way to get a strong weapon early on, even though the quest is extremely difficult to complete at level 30. The catch is that the reward is a choice, and not every Warrior agrees the axe is the pick.<\/p>\n

How the questline works<\/h2>\n

The Whirlwind Axe comes from the iconic Warrior questline in Alterac Mountains<\/a>, which you embark on after finishing the level 30<\/strong> Berserker Stance<\/a> quest. Berserker Stance itself is available at level 30, and your class trainer sends you to Fray Island near Ratchet to fight a short gauntlet of mobs before you are rewarded with the new stance.<\/p>\n

The quest is extremely difficult to complete at level 30. Many of the reagents can be bought on the Auction House, or you can bring a higher level player to assist, which is what makes it a realistic early power spike rather than a wall.<\/p>\n

If you would rather not run the class questline yourself, a WoW Forever Class Quests Boost<\/a> completes the class-specific quest for your character.<\/p>\n

Whirlwind Axe stats<\/h2>\n

The axe is a two-hand axe with an item level of 40<\/strong>, 102\u2013154 damage, a 3.60 speed and 35.56 damage per second, plus 16 Strength and 15 Stamina. It binds when picked up, has 100\/100 durability, is Warrior-only, and sells for 1 gold 65 silver 41 copper.<\/p>\n\n
