Recent beta adjustments targeted its trigger rate, cooldown pacing, and spell visuals to establish a more steady benefit in combat.<\/p>\n

How Touch of the Grave Works with DoTs and Spells<\/h2>\n

The wow forever touch of the grave work with dots interaction is strictly limited to initial applications. The initial cast of a periodic spell can roll for a trigger, but subsequent periodic ticks from spells like Corruption<\/a>, Shadow Word: Pain<\/a>, Immolate<\/a>, Ignite<\/a>, Moonfire<\/a>, and Insect Swarm<\/a> have a 0% proc rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Channeled abilities follow this same restriction. Channeled spells such as Drain Life<\/a> and Drain Soul<\/a> only evaluate a trigger roll on the initial application rather than on each channel tick. Arcane Missiles<\/a> acts as an exception, granting every individual missile hit an independent chance to activate the effect.<\/p>\n

For hybrid or area spells, initial hits trigger the racial, but ground effects do not. Paladin Consecration<\/a> can activate the racial on its initial placement hit, but its subsequent periodic ground damage ticks cannot. Retribution Aura<\/a> never activates the trait.<\/p>\n

Non-damaging crowd control effects such as Sap<\/a> and Polymorph<\/a> can no longer trigger the racial. Rogues must note that using Pickpocket<\/a> no longer triggers the effect. Engineering bombs trigger the racial at a scaled 60% effectiveness<\/strong>, dealing 3% of maximum health rather than 5%.<\/p>\n
