The ffxiv halloween event 2026<\/strong>, titled All Saints' Wake: A Grisly Affair of Mortals and Bears, runs from Thursday, October 15, 2026<\/strong>, through Monday, November 2, 2026. Participating players can earn the dyeable Grisly Bear attire set, secure the Dire, Dire Deepcroft achievement, and buy seasonal furnishings for gil. The entire questline takes place in Old Gridania and an event-exclusive area.<\/p>\n

All Saints' Wake 2026 started on October 15, 2026, at 1:00 a.m. PDT (8:00 GMT) and ends on Monday, November 2, 2026<\/strong>, at 6:59 a.m. PST (14:59 GMT). Seasonal quests cannot be turned in after the event concludes.<\/p>\n\n

Quest Walkthrough: We Scare Bears and Follow-up<\/h2>\n

To begin, speak with the Pumpkin-headed Apparition at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania. The apparition introduces you to three young voidsent disguised in bear costumes\u2014Pattin, Bea, and Dodd.<\/p>\n

  1. Accept "We Scare Bears" from the Pumpkin-headed Apparition in Old Gridania.<\/li>\n
  2. Head northeast within Old Gridania to speak with the bear trio.<\/li>\n
  3. After recruiting two attending adventurers and speaking with Pattin, accept the follow-up quest, "Grim and Grisly Games," from Pattin.<\/li>\n
  4. Speak with the Grave Guide nearby to enter the Dire Deepcroft instance.<\/li>\n
  5. Talk to Bea inside the instance to receive the All-seeing Gourd event item and learn the rules of the hide-and-seek game.<\/li>\n
  6. Explore the orange markers across the dungeon to track down five hidden participants. Follow the main route, turning left to Pattin first, then use an all-seeing gourd on the real Pattin to trigger the search.<\/li>\n
  7. Look for distinct patchwork bear costumes to identify the correct targets. Ignore decoys such as green legs protruding from the ground, continuing southwest to find the dancing green bear instead.<\/li>\n
  8. Target each patchwork bear and use the All-seeing Gourd from your inventory or hotbar.<\/li>\n
  9. Speak to Dodd to exit the instance once you find all five targets.<\/li>\n
  10. Return to Old Gridania and conclude the dialogue to claim your rewards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Completing the final quest awards the "Dire, Dire Deepcroft" achievement along with 10 achievement points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

    All Saints' Wake 2026 Rewards<\/h2>\n

    Finishing "Grim and Grisly Games" grants the full Grisly Bear glamour outfit, which consists of two pieces: the Grisly Bear Head and the Grisly Bear Suit. The body piece acts as a complete full-body costume below the head, and both items are dyeable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The costume reward is disappointing and weak, and players would have preferred something cooler or a festive mount instead, according to some players. The costume cannot be stored in the armoire<\/strong>, which others point out as a frustrating limitation. The costume looks nice and detailed even though it is not very usable in glamours, one player noted.<\/p>\n

    Housing Furnishings and Vendor Items<\/h2>\n

    The Bespectacled Peddler is located just outside Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania at (X:10.3, Y:9.0). The vendor sells new indoor items along with returning event posters and consumables for gil.<\/p>\n
