WoW Forever RP-PvP will be available at the November 4<\/strong> launch. It combines roleplay naming and behavior requirements with a world where enemy-faction players can attack you almost everywhere.<\/p>\n

Server and realm selection<\/h2>\n

You choose a ruleset instead of selecting a traditional realm, with each choice providing a broader player community. A WoW Forever RP-PvP server is therefore a regional ruleset space shared with others who selected that option, rather than one named realm among many.<\/p>\n

Layers adjust to player numbers, and your language preference, guild, and previous groups help determine which players you encounter. Choose your region together before creating characters: separate regions require separate WoW accounts and subscriptions, with progress kept separate.<\/p>\n

Normal, PvP, Roleplay, and Roleplay-PvP are the launch choices; Hardcore will arrive afterward.<\/p>\n

Name reservation date and eligibility<\/h2>\n

Early Name Reservation<\/a> began October 27<\/strong> and runs through November 3. Its regional opening times were as follows.<\/p>\n\n

Eligible purchases include the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection, World of Warcraft: Forever Digital Upgrade, and Collector\u2019s Edition<\/a>. The reservation benefit belongs to the particular WoW account receiving the purchase.<\/p>\n

You can reserve up to three characters<\/strong> across all rulesets combined, and that cap applies only during early reservation. Names go to whoever reserves them first, so a purchase does not guarantee your preferred choice.<\/p>\n

To install the game and create your reservation characters:<\/p>\n

  1. Install or update the Battle.net desktop app, then select World of Warcraft.<\/li>\n
  2. Set the Game Version selector to World of Warcraft: Forever and install it.<\/li>\n
  3. Launch the client, choose your ruleset, and create your characters within the reservation allowance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Character naming rules<\/h2>\n

    Every character uses two name parts, and the complete combination must be unique throughout its region<\/strong>, including across different rulesets. Reserving a combination on one EU ruleset prevents anyone, including you, from using that combination on another EU ruleset; the same combination can still be available in the US region.<\/p>\n
