To equip an unfamiliar weapon type, you must first learn its skill, and your class determines which types you can learn.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"alliance-weapon-trainer-locations\">Alliance weapon trainer locations<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"stormwind-woo-ping\">Stormwind: Woo Ping<\/h3>\n<p>Find <a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=11867&amp;domain=forever\">Woo Ping<\/a> at <strong>Weller&#39;s Arsenal<\/strong> in the Trade District, opposite the Auction House. His training covers Crossbows, Daggers, Staves, Polearms, One-Handed Swords and Two-Handed Swords.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ironforge-buliwyf-stonehand-and-bixi-wobblebonk\">Ironforge: Buliwyf Stonehand and Bixi Wobblebonk<\/h3>\n<p>Head to Timberline Arms in the southern part of the Military Ward to reach both trainers. Choose between them by weapon type:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=11865&amp;domain=forever\">Buliwyf Stonehand<\/a>: Teaches Guns, Fist Weapons, One-Handed Axes, Two-Handed Axes, One-Handed Maces and Two-Handed Maces.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=13084&amp;domain=forever\">Bixi Wobblebonk<\/a>: Teaches Thrown, Crossbows and Daggers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"darnassus-ilyenia-moonfire\">Darnassus: Ilyenia Moonfire<\/h3>\n<p>Look for <a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=11866&amp;domain=forever\">Ilyenia Moonfire<\/a> on the Warrior&#39;s Terrace, close to the city&#39;s main entrance. You can learn Thrown, Staves, Daggers, Bows and Fist Weapons here.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"horde-weapon-trainer-locations\">Horde weapon trainer locations<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"orgrimmar-sayoc-and-hanashi\">Orgrimmar: Sayoc and Hanashi<\/h3>\n<p>Enter Arms of Legend in the Valley of Honor to find both Weapon Masters together. Their shared location does not mean they offer identical training.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=11868&amp;domain=forever\">Sayoc<\/a>: Teaches Daggers, Fist Weapons, Thrown, Bows, One-Handed Axes and Two-Handed Axes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=2704&amp;domain=forever\">Hanashi<\/a>: Teaches Staves, Thrown, Bows, One-Handed Axes and Two-Handed Axes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"thunder-bluff-ansekhwa\">Thunder Bluff: Ansekhwa<\/h3>\n<p>Find <a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=11869&amp;domain=forever\">Ansekhwa<\/a> beside the weapon tent on the Lower Rise. Training here covers Staves, Guns, One-Handed Maces and Two-Handed Maces.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"undercity-archibald\">Undercity: Archibald<\/h3>\n<p>Go to the War Quarter and look beside the weapon merchants for <a href=\"#\" data-wowhead=\"npc=11870&amp;domain=forever\">Archibald<\/a>. A trainer can only offer weapon types your class supports; check your class&#39;s eligibility if the skill you want is missing.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"raise-weapon-skill-after-training\">Raise weapon skill after training<\/h2>\n<p>Unlocking a weapon type and improving its skill are separate steps: after learning it, equip a matching weapon and attack enemies to gain skill. Practice before relying on a newly learned type in a dungeon.<\/p>\n<p>Use melee attacks for melee weapons and shoot with the ranged weapon you want to improve; your weapon skill cap increases as your character levels.
