It’s the same Merfolk Swamp, Forest Altar, or Botanical Garden depending on the rotation, but with a unique twist – difficulty modificators. These vary from empowered mobs and bosses to whole new events such as meteor showers or toxic rains. However, Arcane Realms are undoubtedly the best source of rewards and top-tier gear available in the game.
Basic team coordination is the least of the requirements to pass Arcane Realms. This unique PvE experience requires knowing basic Tarisland dungeons like the palm of your hand and is designed to challenge the most hardcore Tarisland players. - Meteor Showers – getting hit by one while fighting a final boss is definitely an experience to remember;
- Linked Currents – your team is now linked with an elemental force. Brake the link or suffer some additional damage;
- Exploding Poison Orbs – because just Exploding or just Poison Orbs are not enough, here’s their ugly child. These are scattered around the area and are on the timer. Either avoid them or destroy them – but don’t get hit by them. Almost a guaranteed one-shot at the Nightmare difficulty. Starting to get from where the “Nightmare” part’s coming from, huh?
- Gale – random, but very strong wind currents are scattered around the map. Care to get blown into that nice, dark, and very cozy endless pit over there? No? In the pit you go. Just dodge these and check for a solid surface behind your back if you do get hit by one.
