About WoW TBC Classic Karazhan Raid Run from Epiccarry
With the release of WoW TBCC, players will once again be able to dive into one of the greatest raids the WoW community has ever seen. Karazhan is arguably the most liked raid dungeon ever produced by Blizzard and everyone who is even remotely interested in The Burning Crusade waits to either re-live fond memories of days past or experience the goodness that Kara raiding was in its original glory. Everyone, from newbies to seasoned gamers knows that The Burning Crusade is home to one of the greatest raids ever created.
The sinister Karazhan tower is located in Deadwind Pass — an ominous zone perched between Duskwood and the Swamp of Sorrows. Originally built by Aegwinn after becoming paranoid of her fellow members of the Council of Tirisfall, this tower acted as a refuge from the Council and a conduit for the powerful energy that emanated from the area.
Karazhan was initially inhabited by Aegwynn’s own son — the Great Sorcerer Medivh, his steward Moroes, and his apprentice Khadgar. Medivh was secretly possessed by the dark spirit of Sargeras. Through Medivh, Sargeras opened the Dark portal which led to the first invasion of Azeroth. During the invasion, Medivh is slain by Anduin Lothar, a knight champion of the Kingdom of Azeroth and Medivh’s old friend. During the events of The Burning Crusade, the tower was sealed off from the rest of the world. But recently, evil spirits have taken occupancy lead by the demon Prince Malchezaar.
Karazhan is a 10 men instance that hosts 12 boss encounters, Tier 4 glove and helm tokens, a new rare mount Fiery Warhorse’s Reins, iconic encounters such as The Opera and Chess Events.
Unlike the majority of other raid areas, Karazhan is not split into wings and some bosses can be skipped. In fact, you only have to complete 4 encounters to be able to face the last boss. But such a speedrun is not recommended. Not only does it rob you of the experience, but also does not award nearly as many opportunities to loot some epic items that drop from the bosses and trash.
Being on the longer side of the spectrum, as far as the WoW raids go, Kara runs tend to take quite a while. Even the strongest and most committed raiding guilds spend multiple hours from the beginning to the end. And even if everyone in your group plays well, things are likely to go south more than you’d like to due to some random factors of which there are plenty. Even the smallest mishap will wipe the raid in this fight and getting it right will require a huge time investment from your party. Unless you go with our team of PROs!
Epiccarry players are skillful and experienced enough to carry you through the Karazhan with ease.
