On December 8, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2, tackling two major bugs. Players can now breathe a sigh of relief as the infamous Inferno map bug, which allowed bombs to be planted in flower pot textures, is history.

VAC Ban Blunder Resolved December 5 saw players panicking over mass erroneous VAC bans. These bans, as it turns out, were a hiccup due to the early December update. Valve acknowledged the error and has been rolling back the bans, advising players still affected to contact support for quicker resolution.
