Last Epoch Lightless Arbor Carry treats Gold as a real resource, since the Vault of Uncertain Fate is built specifically to drain it in exchange for better loot. Tier 1 chests can’t produce Exalted items at all, while Tier 4 chests can roll Exalted gear with a Tier 7 affix, the strongest available from this dungeon’s loot pool.

Buy Last Epoch Lightless Arbor Boosting and pick a Tier that matches your character, since spending heavily in a Vault your build isn’t ready to survive wastes both the Gold and the Key it took to get there. A Tier 4 run makes sense once your character is at the level cap and geared to handle it.
Dying inside Lightless Arbor ends the run immediately, and the Lightless Arbor Key used to enter is consumed without producing any Vault access. This mirrors how Temporal Sanctum’s Key works; death costs more than just the attempt here. Our booster manages Burning Amber and light sources carefully throughout to avoid this outcome.
More Gold spent generally pushes toward better modifiers, but the actual ceiling on what those modifiers can produce is set by your Tier, not by how much Gold you’re willing to throw at it. A Tier 1 Vault cannot roll Exalted items no matter how much Gold gets spent, while a Tier 4 Vault can produce Exalted gear with a Tier 7 affix. Matching your Gold spend to a Tier that can reward it is the real strategy here.
You can order runs at Tier 4 specifically, since that’s the minimum requirement for Core of the Mountain to appear in the drop pool at all, but the drop itself is not guaranteed on any single kill. Ordering multiple Tier 4 runs is the standard way to improve your odds without changing the underlying rate. Every run also still produces Vault access and the lower-Tier Uniques remain possible alongside it.
