Last Epoch Merchants Guild Carry climbs a ladder that gets noticeably steeper the further up it goes. The first handful of Ranks open at a comfortable pace, but Reputation costs jump hard past Rank 6, so the back half of the climb is the part that eats most of the grind.

Buy Last Epoch Merchants Guild Boosting and skip to any Rank, unlocking the gear category you’re chasing. Rank 8 is where the Exalted market fully opens, Rank 9 does the same for Uniques, and by Rank 12 there’s nothing left on the Bazaar that’s off-limits to you.
Merchant’s Tokens let you purchase a Bazaar item while skipping its Favor cost entirely, while Black Market Tokens go further and skip both the Favor cost and the Rank requirement, dropping the equip threshold on that specific item down to Rank 1. Neither token changes your actual Rank progress, they just let a single purchase bypass the usual restrictions tied to it. Black Market Tokens are notably rarer, dropping specifically the first time you reach Rank 6 and again at Rank 12.
No, Bazaar trading only works between players aligned with the Merchant’s Guild within the same Season and the same Game Mode, so a Softcore character can’t buy from or sell to a Hardcore one, and Ranks earned in a past Season don’t carry trading eligibility into a new one. Your Rank itself persists on your account permanently, but active Bazaar access depends on being in the same Season and mode as whoever you’re trying to trade with.
Selling has no Rank gate at all, since even a fresh Rank 1 character can list any equippable item on the Bazaar the moment they join the faction. The Rank requirements only apply to buying, where each tier unlocks progressively higher-value item categories. This is worth knowing if your goal is mainly clearing out inventory for Gold and not shopping for upgrades, since a low Rank won’t hold your selling back at all.
