Stygian Onslaught should be completed with a boss-by-boss plan because team usage matters. Wasting your best damage dealers too early can make later encounters much harder.
Stygian Onslaught is a permanent Genshin Impact combat mode focused on clearing three powerful boss encounters across different difficulty levels. It is designed as high-end battle content, with stronger enemies, stricter team requirements, and valuable rewards for players who can clear higher tiers.
To complete Stygian Onslaught, players need to select a difficulty, defeat all three bosses, and meet the clear conditions for that tier. Higher difficulties require several built teams because characters, weapons, and artifacts used in one cleared battle may be locked from the remaining stages.
Stygian Onslaught difficulty levels include Normal, Advancing, Hard, Menacing, Fearless, and Dire. Each higher tier increases the challenge and can unlock better rewards, but access may require clearing previous difficulties first.
Stygian Onslaught rewards can include Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, upgrade materials, artifact-related rewards, Dust of Enlightenment, and Dire Prestige progress. The exact reward list depends on the selected difficulty, current version, and whether your account is eligible for that tier’s rewards.
