Good luck with getting to exalted! And remember, nature may be healing, but you’re the one doing all the work.
If you’re here asking what this faction is than you are about to find out about the world of bugs, druids, and endless rep farming. Let’s start at the beginning. Founded by Malfurion Stormrage and Cenarius, this organization has been protecting Azeroth’s natural world for centuries. Silithus is just one more battleground in their endless fight to keep the world from falling apart. Why Silithus? Because that’s where the Old Gods decided to plant their gross little underground bug hotel. And, of course, it’s your job to clean it up because the Circle’s too busy doing whatever druids do…
In the end, the Cenarion Circle is just one of those Classic factions that represents the game’s old-school charm. It has lots of grinding, lore, and rewards that make it all (mostly) worth it. Now go forth, slay some bugs, and show those druids who the real MVP is.
Cenarion Circle quartermaster is the druid who got the easiest job in Silithus. While you’re out there wading through sand, bugs, and Twilight cultists, this guy is chilling in the safety of Cenarion Hold. The quartermaster is named Logannas. Just head to Silithus. You’ll find it southwest of Un’Goro Crater. There you look for the fortress-looking building.
Once you’re in Cenarion Hold, finding Logannas isn’t hard. He hangs out in one of the buildings near the center of the hold. If you’re Alliance or Horde, the location doesn’t change. Logannas serves both factions equally, which is a rare moment of cooperation in old Azeroth. Of course, you’ll still probably get ganked by the opposing faction on your way there. Just be thankful Logannas doesn’t care who you are as long as your rep is high enough.
So, what’s Logannas selling? His stock depends on your reputation with the Cenarion Circle. At Friendly and Honored, he’ll have some basic recipes and enchants. Useful, sure, but nothing to write home about. Revered and Exalted is where the juicy loot unlocks. So, get your rep up, head to Cenarion Hold, and find Logannas.
If you want to earn the trust of Azeroth’s most eco-friendly faction, you better get ready for a lot of grind. We’ll walk you through it step by step.
Pack Your Bags for Silithus
Now your new home is Silithus, a sandy wasteland crawling with Silithid bugs and Twilight cultists. This is where the grind will happen. If you’re not already level 60, you’re probably better off finishing that first.
Quests for Early Rep Gains
Start with the quests in Silithus and complete everything you see. The NPCs in Cenarion Hold will throw you a few bones in the form of basic “kill stuff” quests. These are like the tutorial levels of rep farming: easy and straightforward. Don’t get too excited, this is Classic, so quests alone won’t get you far. Consider them an appetizer before the main course of bug genocide.
Twilight Cultists
Now we’re getting into the meat of it. Your job is to evict them from these lands. They drop Twilight Texts, which are your ticket to easy rep turn-ins. The texts are stackable, so hoard them for massive turn ins at Cenarion Hold. If you’re playing on a PvP server, good luck finding an un-camped spot to farm these cultists.
Summoning Elemental Bosses
Remember those Twilight cultists you’ve been farming? Use their gear to summon dukes and higher-ranking elemental bosses at summoning circles around Silithus. These bosses drop items that can be turned in for big chunks of rep. They also have a chance to drop loot, so bring a few friends or a raid group because they hit hard!
Silithid Bug Slaughter
The Cenarion Circle really hates bugs. Like, really hates bugs. Silithid carapaces are a common drop from these buggy monstrosities, and you can turn them in for rep too.
AQ Preparations
If your server is working on opening the gates of Ahn’Qiraj, you’ll probably get dragged into the Cenarion Circle grind whether you like it or not. Players across the server will be farming Silithus for resources, and certain collective efforts contribute to rep gains. This is where the community spirit truly shines.
The grind doesn’t end until you hit Exalted, and that takes a long, long time. You’ll turn in Twilight Texts, farm Silithid, kill cultists, and repeat that over and over again. And there you have it, the step-by-step guide to farming Cenarion Circle rep. It’s a grind, but at least you’ll get some cool rewards like nature resistance gear. Grab your bug spray and get to work!
If you’re planning to raid both AQ20 and AQ40 you will definitely want those rewards. First off, let’s talk Nature Resistance gear. This is the bread and butter of why everyone suddenly becomes besties with the Cenarion Circle. AQ40 bosses throw around nature-based attacks and without proper resistance, you’re gonna feel bad. The Circle’s crafting recipes for Nature Resistance gear are essential for tanks, healers, and anyone who doesn’t enjoy dying instantly. Trust us, when you’re faceplanting during Viscidus because you skipped the rep grind, you’ll wish you had listened.
The Cenarion Circle rewards also include crafting recipes for potions and items that are vital in AQ. For example, alchemists can pick up the Nature Protection Potion recipe, which becomes your raid’s best friend during certain fights. These potions can mitigate massive amounts of damage, and let’s be honest, they’re cheaper than the repair bill from multiple wipes.
Oh, and let’s not forget the server-wide Ahn’Qiraj war effort. Grinding Cenarion Circle rep is a part of prepping for the AQ gates opening, and everyone benefits when the gates are up. If you’re playing on a PvP server, this process also includes an extra bonus feature called “getting ganked while turning in Twilight Texts.” Fun times.
Still not convinced? Let’s talk economics. Cenarion Circle rep makes you money, or at least saves you some. Many of the rewards and crafting recipes can be used to produce gear, potions, and enchants that are in high demand for AQ. If you’re a crafter or a consumer, having access to these items early gives you a leg up. Plus, turning in Twilight Texts and summoning bosses can net you some nice loot to sell. It’s Classic WoW, so every copper counts.
You don’t have to like grinding for Cenarion Circle rep, but you’ll be glad you did. Every time you resist a nature damage attack in AQ40, you’ll silently thank the Circle for not letting you skip this step. Dying less, wiping less, and being useful to your raid team sounds a lot better than the alternative. This is the reason you need rep with Cenarion Circle Faction in WoW Classic SoD.
