The Catch R5 requires both the base weapon and four Ako’s Sake Vessel refinement materials. This makes the total fishing route much longer than simply buying the weapon once.

The Catch R5 is earned through fishing, so the route is different from normal weapon farming. There is no boss drop, banner pull, or crafting shortcut.
The Catch R5 is the fully refined version of The Catch, a free 4-star polearm exchanged through the Inazuma Fishing Association. At Refinement Rank 5, it gives a stronger Elemental Burst DMG bonus and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate bonus, making it especially valuable for burst-focused polearm characters.
To get The Catch R5, players must unlock fishing, access Inazuma, catch the required fish, exchange them for The Catch at the Inazuma Fishing Association, and purchase four Ako’s Sake Vessel refinement materials. After that, the weapon can be refined from R1 to R5.
The Catch is obtained from the Inazuma Fishing Association by exchanging fish. It is not crafted, pulled from banners, dropped by bosses, or earned through a limited-time event.
The base weapon requires 6 Raimei Angelfish, 20 Golden Koi, and 20 Rusty Koi. These fish are exchanged at the Inazuma Fishing Association for the polearm.
