Avatar Frames are one of the main reasons players complete Valiant Chronicles. Higher frame tiers require more completed objectives, so full progress can involve several Local Legend clears.

Valiant Chronicles should be completed with a boss-specific plan because each Local Legend has different mechanics and objective conditions. A strong team alone may not be enough if the objective requires exact behavior during the fight.
Valiant Chronicles is a Genshin Impact Local Legends challenge system connected to Nod-Krai. Each Local Legend includes three objectives, and completing those objectives gives rewards such as Primogems, enhancement materials, achievements, and progress toward special Avatar Frames.
Valiant Chronicles currently includes Local Legend challenges in Nod-Krai and Snezhnaya, with individual enemies appearing only after their required regional or quest conditions are met. Some Local Legends may require regional access, prerequisite quests, or specific unlock conditions before they appear and can be challenged.
Local Legends are powerful named enemies with special mechanics and higher difficulty than normal overworld bosses. In Valiant Chronicles, each Local Legend has objective-based tasks that must be cleared for full reward progress.
To complete Valiant Chronicles, players need to defeat the selected Local Legend and meet its three challenge objectives. Depending on the enemy, this can involve avoiding certain attacks, clearing the fight under specific conditions, managing boss phases correctly, or using a team strong enough to meet the objective requirements.
