How much Fortification does a single Strike Skill hit grant?

The amount scales with the damage of the hit itself, so bigger hits build the stack faster than small ones. There’s no fixed number per hit, which means a build already investing in damage naturally fills the Fortification stack faster than one that isn’t.

Does the Fortify effect work with skills that aren’t Strike Skills?

No, the automatic Fortify line only triggers off Melee Hits from Strike Skills specifically, so a build running a non-Strike main skill won’t get the free uptime this glove offers. The Attack Speed and Armour lines still apply regardless of skill type, just not the automated Fortify generation. Non-Strike melee builds can still Fortify through other sources and benefit from the Attack Speed scaling once stacks exist.
