What are the rules of the Dual Front game mode in Siege X?
Siege X: Dual Front is a 6v6 game mode where Attackers and Defenders work together on the same team on a massive new map. Here’s how it works:
- Two Lanes: one side is for attacking, the other for defending. You must protect your own sectors while conquering enemy sites;
- Neutral Zone: the middle of the map is open to everyone, creating chaotic fights;
- Sector Control: teams must plant and protect the defuser to take over enemy bomb sites;
- Respawning & Operator Swaps: players can respawn after dying and change operators mid-match;
- Preparation Phase: teams get one minute to reinforce their sectors and plan their attack;
- Special Event: at some point, the neutral zone hosts a rescue mission where teams can save Dokkaebi like a hostage.
Matches typically last 20-25 minutes, but can go up to 30 minutes.
Is Dual Front included in the ranked rotation?
No, Dual Front is not part of the ranked rotation in Siege X. Ubisoft has confirmed that this 6v6 mode is a permanent addition, but it remains a separate experience from traditional ranked play. Instead, Core Siege continues to be the primary ranked mode, while Dual Front is designed for strategic large-scale battles with respawning mechanics and dynamic objectives.

What Operators are best suited for this new game mode?
In Siege X: Dual Front, some Operators shine more than others due to the unique mechanics of the mode. Since both Attackers and Defenders play on the same team, versatility is key. Here are some top picks:
