In Phase 4 of WoW Classic Season of Discovery Blizzard took a hard look at the crafted gear and made some adjustments. Some items saw increases in primary stats like Strength, Agility, and Intellect, making them more competitive with gear dropped in raids. They also tweaked secondary stats like Crit, Hit, and Spell Power to give players more versatility in their builds. The reitemization didn’t just stop at stats. Some gear got entirely new names to reflect their enhanced status. This means you might not recognize some of your old favorites at first glance, but rest assured, they’ve been fine-tuned for the better.

Yes, you can buy crafted gear on the Auction House or through Trade Chat, provided the items are Bind on Equip (BoE). These BoE items can be crafted by players with the appropriate professions and then sold to others. It’s a great way to get your hands on powerful gear without having to level up the crafting profession yourself.

However, not all crafted gear is BoE. Some items are Bind on Pickup (BoP), meaning you’ll need the appropriate profession and the specific pattern, recipe, or plan to craft them yourself.

You’re not imagining things! The reason you’re seeing different item names is because of Blizzard’s reitemization and stats overhaul in Phase 4 of WoW Classic Season of Discovery. They wanted to shake things up a bit and make the crafted gear more relevant and exciting for players.

This reitemization involved not only boosting the stats of various crafted items but also giving them new names to better reflect their enhanced capabilities. So, while the item you’re looking for might not have the same name you remember, it’s still there in spirit.
