Is there Naxxramas in WoW Classic SoD?
Yes! Naxxramas is already in WoW Classic Season of Discovery. As one of the most iconic raid dungeons, it’s ready to test your raid group. Sharpen your swords, dust off your spellbooks, and stock up on frost resist potions!
To get inside, however, you’ll need to get your attunement sorted. And before you even ask, no, you can’t just knock on the door and ask Kel’Thuzad nicely to let you in. This massive floating citadel houses 15 bosses that are all ready to serve you a healthy dose of “nope!” Gather your raid, read through boss mechanics once again, and get ready to face some of the most memorable encounters WoW has ever thrown at its players.
How to get attunement to Naxxramas in WoW Classic SoD?
Want to get inside Naxxramas, eh? Well, first things first, you’ll need to hit at least Honored with the Argent Dawn. Once you’ve earned their trust, head on over to Archmage Angela Dosantos at Light’s Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands. She’s got a quick quest for you that will grant you access to Naxxramas. Just a quick word of warning—it’s going to cost you a budget!
Depending on your reputation with the Argent Dawn, the price will change:
- If you’re Honored, you’ll need to hand over 60 gold, 5 Arcane Crystals, 2 Nexus Crystals, and a Righteous Orb.
- If you hit Revered, the price drops to 30 gold, 2 Arcane Crystals, and 1 Nexus Crystal.
- If you made it to Exalted (nice job), you’ll get in for free. Yeah, that’s right—free! No gold, no materials!
What are the requirements to enter Naxxramas in WoW Classic Season of Discovery?
First, you’ve got to hit level 60. No shortcuts there. Once you’re 60, you’ll also need to complete the Naxxramas attunement quest. You can get that quest from Archmage Angela Dosantos after reaching at least Honored with the Argent Dawn, hand in some gold and materials (or just get Exalted for a free pass), and you’ll be all set!
After that, just head to the teleport spire in the Plaguewood, which is the only way to get inside. No, there’s no secret backdoor, and no, flying mounts don’t exist in Classic, don’t even think about it! Once you step onto the runic circle at the center of the spire, you’ll be teleported into the heart of Naxxramas, and your raid adventure will begin.
Where is Naxxramas entrance in WoW Classic SoD?
If you’re wandering around the Plaguewood in Eastern Plaguelands and cannot find that floating fortress you’re in luck! We have the answer fot you. The entrance to Naxxramas is at the teleport spire in the center of the Plaguewood. Once you’re attuned, you’ll step onto the runic circle and be transported directly into the belly of the beast.
Now, fun fact: Naxxramas was originally supposed to have its entrance in Stratholme, right outside the Slaughter Square. Can you imagine walking through that place only to hop into a raid? Well, Blizzard thought better of it, and here we are with our teleportation spires in the Plaguewood instead. So get your bearings, find the spire, and prepare to face the horrors waiting inside!
How many bosses are there in Naxxramas in WoW Classic Season of Discovery?
There are 15 bosses standing between you and a shiny new set of loot, spread across five different wings, all determined to make your life a nightmare. In the Arachnid Quarter, you’ve got Anub’Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and Maexxna. The Plague Quarter offers up Noth the Plaguebringer, Heigan the Unclean, and Loatheb.
The Military Quarter? Instructor Razuvious, Gothik the Harvester, and The Four Horsemen (yes, all four of them). Over in the Construct Quarter, say hello to Patchwerk, Grobbulus, Gluth, and Thaddius, who’s probably going to electrocute half your raid. And finally, if you survive all of that, there’s Frostwyrm Lair with Sapphiron and the big bad himself, Kel’Thuzad. So, make sure you’ve got your strategy down and your raid team geared up, because it’s going to be one heck of a ride! Lets sum it up:
