WoW SoD Tier 2.5 Set Boost

When it comes to Tier 2.5 in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, each class has their own specific set. Each set enhances core abilities, making your class stronger. Here’s a quick rundown:

Each set consists of five pieces and can be acquired through specific quests linked to AQ40 bosses. This gear can keep you relevant in the raid meta. Time to suit up!

Getting Tier 2.5 set in WoW Classic Season of Discovery isn’t as simple task. It is complicated, but not impossible! Each class has their own specific quests tied to AQ40 bosses, and yes, there will be farming involved. Here’s the breakdown:

1. Start by diving into AQ40 and taking down bosses. They drop quest items called tokens, which correspond to different armor slots.
2. Once you have a token you’ll need additional materials, including Elementium Ingots, Scarab Brooches, and other AQ40 goodies, to complete the quest.
3. Once you have the tokens and materials, pick up the quest that rewards you with that sweet Tier 2.5 piece.
4. Once you’ve got everything you need, turn in the quest and collect your new Tier 2.5 gear.

It takes a bit of time, but with our help you can get your set in the shortest time possible!

There is no attunement required for AQ40 in Season of Discovery! That’s right, there’s no need to grind rep or gather special items to get through the front door of the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj. All you need is a raid group. It’s highly recommended that your group is well-geared and has their raid tactics down. The bosses aren’t forgiving, so it’s best to go in with a solid plan or at least be prepared to wipe a few times.

One thing to note: while there’s no attunement for AQ40, you still might want to get on good terms with the Brood of Nozdormu. Their rep grind can help you out with some sweet rewards later on, and you’ll be farming them anyway while working on your Tier 2.5 set.

The entrance to AQ40, or the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, is located in the southern part of Silithus, which itself is found in the far southwestern corner of Kalimdor. You’ll need to head to the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj, a massive structure that you can’t miss if you’re in the zone. It’s the same place where the AQ event goes down during the War Effort, so if you’ve done that, you’re already familiar with the location.

Once you’re at the gates, you’ll see two entrances. Don’t confuse AQ40 with Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj (AQ20)—the smaller raid next door. AQ40 is the big boy entrance with 40-man content, located on the left side of the structure.

The Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, comes packed with 9 bosses. You’ll face everything from swarms of bugs to giant bug gods, and finally, C’Thun himself.

Here’s the boss lineup:

1. The Prophet Skeram – The first boss of AQ40, known for his mind control and cloning abilities. Get ready to deal with some raid members suddenly turning against you.
2. Battleguard Sartura – A whirlwind of blades. Keep your distance or face the wrath of her lethal spinning attacks.
3. Fankriss the Unyielding – This guy will constantly summon adds to keep your raid on its toes. Be ready to handle lots of creepy crawlies.
4. Princess Huhuran – Poison, poison, and more poison! If you don’t have your nature resistance gear, she’ll melt your raid faster than a bad pull in Blackrock Depths.
5. Twin Emperors: Vek’lor & Vek’nilash – These two work in perfect sync, sharing health but only taking specific types of damage (magic for one, physical for the other). Get your team’s coordination right, or they’ll heal up and make your life difficult.
6. C’Thun – The infamous final boss. C’Thun’s fight is a chaotic mix of dodging eye beams, dealing with tentacles, and avoiding getting sucked into his stomach. One of WoW’s most legendary encounters.
7. Bug Trio: Yauj, Vem, and Kri – This optional trio gives you a choice in how you approach the fight. You can defeat them in any order, but their abilities and mechanics change depending on which one you take down first.
8. Viscidus – A gelatinous goo of a boss who requires frost damage to freeze, and then needs to be shattered by physical attacks. Don’t forget your frost gear for this one!
9. Ouro – The giant worm that loves to burrow and surprise attack your raid. Ouro is optional but gives great loot for those brave enough to take him on.

In between these major bosses, expect a lot of trash mobs and some unexpected challenges. Each boss drops loot that’ll make the grind worth it, especially those Tier 2.5 set pieces.
