Frequently Asked Questions

What is Argent Dawn and what is their lore?

The Argent Dawn is a faction in World of Warcraft. With members from various races, they united under the common goal: fight against the undead Scourge and other dark threats. They cleanse corrupted lands, rescue the oppressed, and stand as a beacon of hope.

Argent Dawn was formed after the fall of Lordaeron, when a group of survivors, led by Lord Maxwell Tyrosus and High Priest Thel’danis, decided to take a stand against the encroaching darkness. Their headquarters is at the Light’s Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands.

Where are Argent Dawn Quartermasters?

Argent Dawn Quartermasters can be found in key locations:

  1. Light’s Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands – the heart of the Argent Dawn operations. Here, Quartermaster Lionel is ready to assist you.
  2. Chillwind Camp in the Western Plaguelands – a forward base where Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock stands ready to provide supplies and gear.

These Quartermasters offer a variety of items for those who have proven their worth to the Argent Dawn.

How can I farm reputation with Argent Dawn?

Farming reputation with the Argent Dawn is all about consuming a lot of time… and a bit of elbow grease. Here’s a short guide to earn their favor:

  1. Undead Mobs in the Plaguelands – killing them in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands will grant you reputation. It’s very boring but rewarding task.
  2. Plaguelands Quests –  quests will boost your reputation. The Argent Dawn has many tasks, so finding some shouldn’t be a problem.
  3. Cauldron Quests – these special quests in the Western Plaguelands involve cleansing cauldrons of plague.
  4. Scourgestones –  can be turned in for reputation. They drop from elite undead and come in 3 various types.
  5. Dungeon Runs – run dungeons like Stratholme and Scholomance. Those places have some great loot and also give you the chance to earn valuable reputation points. Be sure to equip your Argent Dawn Commission to collect Scourgestones.

What are reputation rewards with Argent Dawn?

Here’s what you can expect as you get higher rep:

  1. Friendly: At this level, you’ll start getting access to basic items like the Argent Dawn Commission, which lets you collect Scourgestones from defeated undead.
  2. Honored: As you further prove your worth, more valuable items become available. Look out for equipment upgrades and consumables that can aid you in battle.
  3. Revered: The rewards here are even better, with rare and powerful gear, including trinkets and armor that can make a significant difference in your adventures.
  4. Exalted: Achieving Exalted status with the Argent Dawn is no small feat.  You’ll gain access to some of the best gear and special items. Attunement to Naxxramas is free at this level!
