The entrance to WoW Classic SoD Maraudon is located in the Valley of Spears in Desolace, a zone in Kalimdor.
To reach the entrance, players need to head to the southwest part of the zone. The dungeon has three separate entrances: the Orange side, the Purple side, and a back entrance leading directly to the Inner Maraudon, which is often used for quicker access to the final bosses.
Players should ensure they have the Scepter of Celebras to use the portal within the dungeon for easy navigation between sections.
WoW Classic SoD Maraudon offers a lot of pre-raid Best in Slot items. It is a key dungeon for players looking to gear up before raids. BIS items include the Blackstone Ring, Inventor’s Focal Sword, Gizlock’s Hypertech Buckler, and Mark of the Chosen.
Additionally, there are items like the Thrash Blade, Albino Crocscale Boots, Gatorbite Axe, and Princess Theradras’ Scepter.

In WoW Classic SoD Maraudon, the terms Orange, Purple and Inner refer to the three main wings of the dungeon.
The Orange wing, accessed via the orange crystals in Desolace, features bosses like Noxxion and Razorlash.
The Purple wing, entered through the purple crystals, includes bosses such as Lord Vyletongue and Meshlok the Harvester.
Completing both Orange and Purple wings allows access to the Inner Maraudon, where players can face the final bosses, including Princess Theradras. Players can also use Scepter of Celebras to get into inner Maraudon skipping Purple and Orange wings.
