WoW SoD Tier 2 Set Boost

Each class in WoW Classic Season of Discovery has a Tier 2 Set that’s now actually tailored to spec! You read it right. In Season of Discovery Tier 2 sets provide not only class-specific but also spec-specific bonuses.

Blackwing Lair is where you go for Tier 2 Set. BWL is in the heart of Blackrock Mountain, it is a home to some of the most iconic bosses in WoW Classic, including the nefarious Nefarian. The full Tier 2 set doesn’t just drop off Nefarian though.

Some pieces drop from earlier bosses, so don’t think you can just farm Nef, and be done. You’ve gotta earn that gear!

Yes, you will need to complete an attunement to enter Blackwing Lair! But it’s not as painful as one for Onyxia!

First, you’ll need to grab the “Blackhand’s Command” quest. Once you’ve done that, you’ll head into UBRS, where General Drakkisath is waiting with your attunement key. Once Drakkisath is down, you’ll be rewarded with the key that grants you access to BWL. Congratulations, you’re officially attuned! It’s a one-time deal!

Every raid in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery has the same problem! There is no exactly a neon sign that says “Raid Bosses This Way.” So let’s break it down. The entrance to Blackwing Lair is located at the top of Blackrock Mountain. Ride to the entrance, then use one of the chains dangling down in the center of the mountain’s caldera to get onto the central platform. From there, head toward the entrance to Upper Blackrock Spire.

There’s an orb you need to find: the Orb of Command. It’s right next to the UBRS entrance door. Interact with this shiny, glowing orb, and voilà—you’ll be teleported directly into Blackwing Lair’s lobby.

Remember, you’ll need to complete the Blackhand’s Command quest (aka, your attunement) before you can interact with the orb. So if it’s not working, don’t panic, just go back and finish the attunement quest first.

Blackwing Lair is a home to 8 bosses. If you and your group can beat them, you’ll walk away with some of the best gear in the game.

Let’s break down the boss roster:

1. Razorgore the Untamed – The gatekeeper of BWL and probably the most chaotic fight you’ll ever experience;
2. Vaelastrasz the Corrupt – This fight offers a quick but intense DPS race with mana and health-draining mechanics;
3. Broodlord Lashlayer – He’s a tanky brute who loves knocking people back;
4. Firemaw – His nasty flame-breath and stacking debuff that will have your healers begging for mercy;
5. Ebonroc – Another drake, Ebonroc has a healing mechanic where he steals health from your tanks;
6. Flamegor – Another dragon? Really? Yes. Another one;
7. Chromaggus – A giant two-headed beast with some of the most annoying debuffs in the game;
8. Nefarian – The final boss, and the final test;

So, there are 8 bosses stand between you and the Tier 2 loot. Best of luck, and may your rolls be high and your wipes be few!
