Moonstone is the second Campaign Mastery camo in Black Ops 7’s co-op Campaign “Endgame” progression, unlocked after Molten Gold. It gives weapons a pale white-blue finish with iridescent, gemstone-style reflections and is treated as a prestige cosmetic across modes.
To unlock Moonstone, you must first complete all Military and Special camos on a weapon to earn Molten Gold, then in Endgame eliminate 100 Zone III or Zone IV enemies with that same weapon. In many cases you also need Molten Gold on all weapons of the same type before the Moonstone challenge appears, which makes it a multi-stage grind per category.
No, Moonstone is purely a visual mastery camo and does not change damage, recoil, handling, or any gameplay stats. Its value is cosmetic prestige and as a stepping stone toward higher Campaign tiers like Chroma Flux and Genesis.
You can track Moonstone progress in-game via the Camo / Challenges tab for each weapon under the Campaign or Endgame section, where the kill and mastery requirements update in real time. Many players also use external camo tracker tools or websites to log which weapons already have Molten Gold, Moonstone, or higher tiers unlocked.
Moonstone is unlocked per weapon: each gun needs its own Military + Special challenges, Molten Gold, and the 100 Zone III–IV Endgame kills to earn the skin. Completing Moonstone on many weapons contributes toward Chroma Flux and Genesis, but it does not auto-unlock Moonstone on every gun or new seasonal weapon.
