Weapon Prestige Camos in Black Ops 7 are milestone rewards tied directly to each prestige threshold — not challenge completions, not RNG drops. Each tier has its own camo that unlocks the moment the weapon hits that prestige level, which means the only path to the reward is grinding the full level climb, resetting, and climbing again. Prestige Master extends that further, gating camos behind Level 100, 150, 200, and 250 milestones that stack on top of the base prestige resets.

To prestige a weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, first level it to its maximum weapon level (shown under the weapon name in the Loadouts menu, typically 50). Once it’s maxed, equip the weapon in your loadout and look for the “Prestige Available” prompt, then open the Weapon Prestige menu and hold the confirm button to reset its level and claim the Prestige rewards.
You can enter Weapon Prestige 1 as soon as the weapon reaches its maximum base level (around 50 for most guns), then level it back up to that max level again to unlock Weapon Prestige 2. After reaching max level in Prestige 2, the weapon automatically enters Weapon Prestige Master, letting you push it up to level 250.
Yes, BO7 brings back Weapon Prestige as a separate system from your account Prestige. Any gun you level to its max weapon level can be Prestiged up to three times: Prestige 1, Prestige 2, and then Weapon Prestige Master.
Permanent Unlock Tokens earned from Weapon Prestige are used to keep a chosen attachment permanently available on that weapon, even after future prestige resets. When you receive a token at Prestige 1 or 2, you can spend it in the Gunsmith on a key attachment—typically a high-impact barrel, stock, or magazine you always run, so you don’t lose your core build when you prestige again.
