By clearing Root of Nightmares encounters. Each fight has its own armor slots in the pool, while secret chests can drop items you have already unlocked. After the final encounter, the raid chest can also let you spend Spoils of Conquest on eligible unlocked rewards.
Drops are RNG-based and usually limited by weekly raid lockouts, so getting all five pieces can take multiple resets unless Root of Nightmares is the featured raid.
The raid offers distinct class armor sets: Agony for Titan, Trepidation for Hunter, and Detestation for Warlock. Root of Nightmares armor also supports raid-specific mods such as Volatile Volleys, Radiant Heat, and Tangled Up.
Target the right encounters for missing slots, open both secret chests every run, and spend Spoils at the end chest for duplicates of unlocked pieces. Farm aggressively during featured weeks (no lockout).
Yes. After beating the final boss, the raid chest allows players to spend Spoils of Conquest on eligible weapons and armor they have already unlocked.
