What roles do Blue Mages excel at?
As we already said, Blue Mages are absolute gods of versatility, being proficient with healing, protecting, and damaging spells. Duty Finder won’t bother you with queues any time soon, trust us:
- DPS (Damage Dealer):
- Burst Damage: capable of achieving some of the highest burst damage with spells like Final Sting;
- Tank:
- Self-sustain: Use spells like Mighty Guard spell for increased defense and White Wind for self-healing;
- Healer:
- Healing Spells: Access to powerful healing like White Wind;
- Support: Provide buffs and utility spells, such as Diamondback;
- Utility:
- Crowd Control: Spells like Flying Sardine and Sticky Tongue manage enemy movement and actions;
- Debuffs: Apply a range of negative effects with spells like Bad Breath.
Considering that there’s a whole side-content layer designed specifically to challenge this job in the solo fight, you can safely roam the open world as well – no mob will be strong enough to harm you.
