What makes The Epic of Alexander’s progression so difficult compared to other Ultimate raids? 

TEA is famous for two specific mechanics that filter out most Party Finder groups before they reach the later phases. The Limit Cut mini-phase between Living Liquid and Brute Justice/Cruise Chaser requires all eight players to memorize their numbered position and execute a precise movement sequence in order — one player out of place wipes the raid instantly. The Brute Justice and Cruise Chaser phase then requires both bosses to die within a tight HP window while managing simultaneous debuffs across the full party. The second phase is still considered the main prog wall for most players even years after release, which is what makes TEA consistently one of the hardest boosts to self-clear through PF regardless of how long the raid has been available.

How many Colossus Totems are needed for a full Ultimate Alexander Weapon collection, and is multi-run farming worth it? 

Each Ultimate Alexander Weapon costs one Colossus Totem, meaning one clear gets you one weapon for one job. Players who want weapons across multiple jobs need one clear per weapon — there’s no bulk exchange or catchup mechanic. TEA weapons are the most visually distinct Ultimate glamour set in the game, which makes multi-run orders genuinely worthwhile for players who collect across several jobs. Multi-run orders stack totems directly, and each additional clear is delivered at the same quality as the first.

Why does unlocking TEA require Eden’s Gate: Sepulture on both Normal and Savage difficulty? 

The Epic of Alexander can only be accessed via the Raid Finder after forming a pre-made party where every player has completed Eden’s Gate: Sepulture on Savage difficulty. Normal completion is a prerequisite to accessing Savage, which makes it part of the same unlock chain. The Wandering Minstrel in Eulmore handles the TEA unlock conversation once Sepulture Savage is confirmed cleared. Players who haven’t completed either version can select the Unlock Eden’s Gate: Sepulture add-on to have both handled as part of the same order before the TEA service begins.
