The S’phticide Cryo Skin requires a Compiler kill and a clean extraction — two conditions that have to happen in the same run on a map that’s only available on weekends. Why does the S’phticide Cryo Skin require a Compiler kill specifically?

The S’phticide Cryo Skin is tied to the Compiler kill condition in Cryo Archive — it’s the reward for completing what Bungie designed as the map’s primary challenge. The Compiler is the hardest AI encounter in the current game, referenced across the Codex as the entity the UESC itself fears. Killing it and extracting in the same run is the full completion condition, not just one or the other. Players who die after the kill or fail to extract don’t receive the skin regardless of boss completion.

Does the skin apply to all Shells or only the one selected at checkout?

The skin applies to one Shell per order — whichever you select at checkout. The six options are Vandal, Triage, Destroyer, Assassin, Thief, and Recon. If you want the skin on multiple Shells, each requires a separate Compiler kill and extraction, which can be ordered as additional runs. Your manager can coordinate back-to-back sessions within the same weekend window if you’re targeting more than one Shell.
