Unlike every other exotic in the game, the Regulus is a guaranteed delivery by design — it’s a quest reward, not a drop. The RNG variable is removed entirely once the prerequisites are met. What the raid clears produce alongside it — high-end gear, named item drops, Exotic Components — accumulates naturally across every Iron Horse attempt made during the service.

Buy Division 2 Regulus Boost and get the sidearm that makes every precision build hit harder — without clearing Operation Iron Horse twice to figure out what the quest actually requires.
The Regulus is a guaranteed quest reward rather than a random drop — it’s the end reward of the multi-step Regulus Project that becomes available after your first Iron Horse clear. This makes it the only Division 2 exotic with no RNG in its acquisition once the prerequisites are in place. The raid itself may require multiple clears if you’re also farming The Ravenous alongside the Regulus quest, but the pistol itself delivers at the end of the project chain every time.
The Police Magnum Replica Blueprint is a key prerequisite for the Regulus Project chain. If you don’t currently have it, the quest can’t begin regardless of Iron Horse completion status. The Blueprint add-on on this page covers its acquisition as part of the same order — your booster obtains it before starting the quest chain, so the full Regulus delivery runs as a single uninterrupted service rather than requiring you to source the Blueprint separately.
The Regulus talent marks targets hit with precision shots — headshots and weak-point hits — and marked targets take increased damage from all sources, not just the pistol. This makes it a damage amplifier that benefits your primary weapon, your skills, and your team’s output simultaneously. In builds centered on precision damage, the mark uptime is high enough to apply the bonus to virtually every enemy encounter, which compounds into a meaningful DPS increase that no other sidearm in the current pool matches.
