The Division 2 crossplay is not active yet as of November 3, 2026. Crossplay goes live on November 17, after PC players move to new servers on November 10 and PlayStation and Xbox players join on the same servers a week later.

Release date
Ubisoft said in August that crossplay would launch in November. The date was later set for November 17, when PC, PlayStation and Xbox play together.
Rollout schedule
| Date | What changes |
| November 3 | Crossplay icons and interface changes appear, but cross-platform play is not yet available |
| November 10 | PC players move to the new crossplay servers, and PC leaderboards reset |
| November 17 | PlayStation and Xbox players join, and crossplay goes live across PC, PlayStation and Xbox |
Servers are down for about six hours on November 3 for the patch. Spotting the new icon on November 3 does not guarantee that a console player can be added to a PC session on that same day.

Turning crossplay off
Crossplay is enabled by default once it launches, and you can disable it from the Character Selection screen. With crossplay disabled, you only encounter players on your own platform.
Aim advantages and cheating from PC players in matchmaking and PvP worry console players, say some of them.
Leaderboards
Leaderboards are reset when crossplay is introduced. PC leaderboards reset on November 10, and they stay hidden on every platform until the rollout is complete.
Clans
Clan capacity rises from 50 to 100 members. Clans carry over to the crossplay environment, so players from different platforms can join the same clan.
Once a clan's first member logs into the fresh servers, the whole clan is transferred over without any action needed. Members who have not moved yet are planned to keep reserved places for three months. If someone other than the clan leader arrives first, that person becomes a temporary leader until the original leader returns, provided the original leader's reservation is still active.
Clan messages, invitations, join requests and clan caches do not carry over. If a clan name is already taken, a number identifying the original platform is added to it.
Cross-saves and friends across platforms
Cross-saves are not part of the crossplay change. Cross-save and cross-progression matter more to some players than crossplay alone, since they want to use PlayStation characters and cosmetics on PC.
Others are glad to team up with friends on other platforms, and one player put it this way:
From dallas TX can't wait for crossplay be able to play with friends on other consoles
