The solo clear delivers two of the rarest titles in the game alongside a mount chance that only appears from floors 101–200. The Black Pegasus mount drops from Platinum-haloed Sacks found on floors 71–200, exchanged at the Confederate Appraiser at Crick in The Ruby Sea. Kinna Weapons require 90 total Aetherpool levels exchanged at E-Una-Kotor in South Shroud — first into Grips, then into a Padjali Weapon at 30 Grips, then upgraded to Kinna with an additional 60 Grip equivalent. Upon reaching floor 200, interacting with the pedestal rewards either a Firecrest or Glass Pumpkin, exchangeable for accessories and housing items at E-Una-Kotor in Quarrymill.

Buy FFXIV Palace of the Dead Boost and get The Necromancer without spending weeks preparing consumables, leveling Aetherpool, and grinding through 200 floors on a no-KO run. Epiccarry’s team handles everything from floor 1 to the pedestal at floor 200.
Machinist is widely considered the best job for soloing Palace of the Dead due to its combination of consistent ranged damage, self-healing through Second Wind and its Automaton Queen ability, and strong burst windows that allow it to handle the floor 180 boss enrage push more reliably than other jobs. The floor 180 boss is the primary failure point for most solo attempts — it has a tight DPS check that lower-damage jobs consistently fail to meet. Dancer is technically viable but requires precise resource management and has a harder time on the floor 180 enrage specifically. All other jobs fall off significantly in the 150–200 range where enemy HP scaling and boss mechanics become the most punishing.
Yes — The Necromancer title requires clearing all 200 floors solo having started from floor 1 without recording a single KO. Any KO at any point invalidates the current run for title purposes, requiring a full restart from floor 1. This is the primary reason the service requires 100+ Sustaining Potions — they’re the main survival tool for high-floor encounters where incoming damage can spike unexpectedly. Our boosters are specifically experienced with solo PotD routing and pomander management to minimize KO risk, but the Sustaining Potion stock and 99/99 Aetherpool requirement exist precisely to cover the runs where things get close.
Kinna Weapons are item level 255 weapons obtained by exchanging a Padjali Weapon plus six additional Aetherpool Grips — requiring 90 total Aetherpool levels across both Arm and Armor — at E-Una-Kotor in South Shroud. Their primary value is glamour: the Kinna Weapon appearance can be applied to any weapon of equivalent or lower item level outside of Palace of the Dead, making them a permanent cosmetic option for players who want the distinctive Aetherpool aesthetic on their current gear. They don’t provide meaningful stat upgrades at current item level, but as a glamour source exclusive to PotD progression they’re the main cosmetic draw alongside the titles and mount.
