Ancestral Phoenix Egg is an item that you can bring to Kai Featherfall located in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, outside the Seat of Knowledge. She will offer you to exchange the egg for 1 of her mounts:
- Reins of the Crimson Pandaren Phoenix
- Reins of the Ashen Pandaren Phoenix
- Reins of the Emerald Pandaren Phoenix
- Reins of the Violet Pandaren Phoenix
Chose wisely because this mount is not account wide. It binds to your character and you can have only one color at any time given. Think twice!
What is Challenge Mode in WoW MoP Classic?
Challenge mode is a feature that is similar to modern version of Mythic+. The idea behind the challenge is simple. You have a dungeon to run within a timer. The faster you finish your run the better rewards you will get. Simply like that.

What are the Challenge Mode Requirements in WoW MoP Classic?

What Rewards Do I get For Completing Challenge Mode in WoW MoP Classic?
Challenge mode provides players with various rewards to keep them motivated. The rewards are bound to three different riers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The faster you finish your challenge the higher your reward will be. Here is what you can get:
Gold Reward
Challenge Conqueror: Gold achievement that rewards players with class-specific transmog set:
- Lich Lord Plate;
- Cycle Armor;
- Howling Beast Set;
- Elemental Triad Regalia;
- Regal Lord Armor;
- Holy Warrior Plate;
- Light Regalia;
- Silent Assassin Armor;
- Windfury Set;
- Betrayer Regalia;
- Golden King Plate;
You will also get teleport to every finished dungeon within Gold. This teleport is presented in a shape of spell. The same way mages use their portals you will have your own. Once you use the spell every other challenge teleport will get an 8-hour CD. But CD is refreshed every time you finish Challenge. Here is the list of every teleport and achievement you can get:
Silver Reward
Challenge Conqueror: Silver achievement gives you Ancestral Phoenix Egg. You get it via in-game mail! Bring the egg to Kai Featherfall and exchange it for one of the following Phoenix mounts:
- Reins of the Ashen Pandaren Phoenix;
- Reins of the Emerald Pandaren Phoenix;
- Reins of the Violet Pandaren Phoenix;
- Reins of the Crimson Pandaren Phoenix.
Please be aware that all of those Mounts are not account-wide! They are bind to your character only! It means that your particular character can only ever have one mount!
Bronze Reward
There is no shame in Bronze! You get Challenge Conqueror: Bronze achievement for the Bronze time and the title The Undaunted.
