Pandaria Heart of Fear Raid Bosses
Heart of Fear is a six-boss raid instance, with no optional bosses present. We’ll deal with every last one of them, with the final blow being dealt upon the Grand Empress Shek’zeer, the final boss of the raid. Let’s take a deeper dive into how the boss roster of Heart of Fear works:
- Imperial Vizier Zor’lok — poor mantid still cling to the hope of preserving their Great Empress, regardless of her corrupted nature, and Imperial Vizier Zor’lok, being the first boss of the raid, maintains the spirit of his innumerable brethren. Some of his notable loot is Pheromone-Coated Choker, Vizier’s Ruby Signet, and Hisek’s Chrysanthemum Cape;
- Blade Lord Ta’yak — expect a tornado of steel and fury from this one. Ta’yak is a skilled melee warrior, unleashing a barrage of gusty abilities that will test your group’s coordination. Expect to look some nice things like Tornado-Summoning Censer, Windblade Talons, and Choker of the Unleashed Storm from his cold body;
- Garalon — brute power made flesh is all you need to know about this hulking monstrosity of an insect. Expect a lot of crushing abilities and prepare to damage his legs first. But after you’re done with him, there are gear pieces like Legbreaker Greatcloak, Necklace of Congealed Weaknesses, and Garalon’s Hollow Skull waiting for you;
- Wind Lord Mel’jarak — looking quite similarly to Blade Lord (one of the previous bosses), Wind Lord Mel’jarak is all about reinforcements (adds) that can topple your group if you’re being careless. However, it seems Mel’jarak carries a whole armory with him, which allows you to loot things like Cloak of Raining Blades, Korven’s Amber-Sealed Beetle, and Painful Thorned Ring after the fight is over;
- Amber-Shaper Un’sok — the penultimate boss of Heart of Fear is almost as corrupted by the Sha as his Empress. All the worse for us since Un’sok is also a talented amber scholar who will gladly utilize all of his knowledge of mantid’s bread and butter in battle. Items like Un’sok’s Amber Scalpel, Scimitar of Seven Stars, and Seal of the Profane are among his potential drops;
- Grand Empress Shek’zeer — the woman of the hour herself. Klaxxi, the uncorrupted representatives of the mantid, want the corrupted empress disposed of, and we are glad to help, aren’t we? With the three-phase fight and the Sha’s energies flowing through Shek’zeer, getting your hands on gear like Claws of Shek’zeer, Hood of Dark Dreams, and Kri’tak, Imperial Scepter of the Swarm feels so much more rewarding!
