Is EFT Arena a standalone experience?

Kinda. You do have to buy it separately from the base game, yes. However, both are linked to your EFT account, with the character experience and PMC skill progression shared between both the Arena and regular EFT. Keep in mind, though, that Arena is an entirely different experience from your basic EFT. Play with our coach for a bit first to understand all the intricacies of EFT Arena gameplay and receive maximum rewards. You have our word – it’s much better than to play in a team of randos who often forget that some people out there don’t have the privilege of sinking hours into a learning process.

What classes or presets are available in EFT Arena?
  • Assault: your best choice if you’re just starting. High firepower, medium-range weaponry, and nothing much going on;
  • CQB: great pick if you want to join the ranks of a “close-and-personal” gang. Shotgun, SMG, and CQC all the way;
  • Scout: more of a support player? No medics in Arena (yet), with a Scout being closest to being helpful;
  • Sniper: long-range proficiency and absolute deadlines. Keep in mind, though, that Tarkov’s sniper rifles are not your usual arcade pea-shooters and will take some significant time getting used to.
