Ground Zero is smaller than many Tarkov maps, but its compact layout makes every route decision matter. A good run balances loot checks, quest objectives, enemy movement, and extraction timing.

Ground Zero is an urban Escape from Tarkov map set around the city center, office buildings, streets, parking areas, shops, and quest locations. It is heavily used for early progression but also has a level 21+ matchmaking bracket with harder conditions and rare loot opportunities.
To complete a Ground Zero raid, you need to enter the map, follow a safe route, complete your selected objectives, collect loot where possible, and extract successfully. The biggest challenge is surviving compact PvP zones, Scav pressure, and confusing indoor routes.
Possible rewards include Roubles, rare items, weapons, armor, EXP, skill progress, quest progress, and all other loot secured during the service. Exact loot depends on route, spawn conditions, raid outcome, and extraction.
