The Lab is valuable because it combines medical loot, locked keycard rooms, Raider gear, and high-value loose spawns. It is also punishing because every run costs an access card and offers no insurance recovery for gear left behind.

The Laboratory raid might be a little bit different from the last raid you played. There are no bosses lurking in the area, though advanced security measured and buffed-up Scavs and raiders compensate quite well for that.
The medical block contains dozens of medical containers with the most useful healing items in the game, including surgical kits and tons of medicaments. Arsenal room also has some really nice weapons and tactical rigs, including a possible Fort Defender Body Armor. Be advised, though, that the Black Keycard as well as a number of other keys and cards are required to access certain areas of the Lab.
