So, Lei Shen is now resurrected, and the Throne of Thunder raid serves as his abode, having twelve bosses in total (thirteen if we include Ra-den). Zandalari, mogu, and terrifying experiments all answer Thunder King’s call, offering you one of Pandaria’s most challenging trials. Now, let’s break down the boss roster:

• Jin’rokh the Breaker — the first boss of the raid is still worth a challenge. This thunder-infused brute will turn the battlefield into an electrified disco. Defeating him could grant you items like Cloudbreaker Greatbelt, Lightning-Eyed Crown, and Jin’rokh’s Soulcrystal;
• Horridon — want a massive direhorn with an army of trolls backing him up in your way? Done! Slay the beast and claim Horridon’s Last Gasp, Dinomancer’s Spiritbinding Spire, or even the Reins of the Armored Skyscreamer mount!
• Council of Elders — just what the witch doctor ordered: a deadly troll council empowered by Loa magic. Bring them down for Robes of Treacherous Ground, Gaze of Gara’jal, and Frost King’s War Cloak.
• Tortos — yes, another giant turtle, as the name suggests. This time with an army of snapping hatchlings. To get past it and earn gear like Shellsplitter Greataxe, Tortos’ Discarded Shell, and Quakestompers, slay it without mercy!
• Megaera — this hydra’s severed heads keep growing back, each deadlier than the last. Care for some good loot like Megaera’s Poisoned Fang, Chain of Consuming Magic, and Hydraskull Choker? Slay the hydra!
• Ji-Kun — simply a massive bird and one of the most popular bosses of the raid because of the flying mount it drops. Bring her down to claim Egg of Ji-Kun, Ji-Kun’s Rising Winds, or the Clutch of Ji-Kun mount.
• Durumu the Forgotten — this one, a forgotten mogu construct, tests your ability to survive deadly beams and darkness. Should you be the victor, loot like Leggings of the Unseeing Path, Lifedrainer’s Sordid Grip, and Deadly Glare Cape is yours!
• Primordius — well, this one is yet another failed mogu experiment. Besides, it mutates mid-fight. Defeat him and earn Primordius’ Talisman of Rage, Pathogenic Gauntlets, and Black Blood Legplates.
• Dark Animus — more constructs! This one that drains life from smaller golems, so you’ll need a lot of coordination in your raid group. Victory grants rewards like Cha-Ye’s Essence of Brilliance, Matter-Swapped Legplates, and Anima-Ringed Fingers.
• Iron Qon — a burly mogu warlord who rides three elemental Quilen. Intrigued? Let’s put it like that: defeating him offers loot such as Iron Qon’s Flaming Scimitar, Quilen-Hide Boots, and Rein-Binder’s Fists.
• Twin Consorts — these two servants of Lei Shen are inseparable like sun and moon they represent. Victory yields Moonjade Necklace, Bracers of the Midnight Comet, and Handguards of the Celestial Empress.
• Lei Shen — here’s the resurrected Thunder King himself, wielding the power of the storms. Defeat him and claim Torall, Rod of the Shattered Throne, Lei Shen’s Final Orders, and Helm of the Last Mogu.
• Ra-den (Heroic-Only Bonus Boss) — a secret heroic boss, Ra-den is a fallen Titan keeper, locked away by Lei Shen. If you’re strong enough to defeat him, you may claim Ra-den’s Contemplative Gaze, Vortex-Plated Chestplate, and Shimmering Phoenix Mantle.

Glory of the Thundering Raider is the meta-achievement for Throne of Thunder, rewarding players with the Reins of the Armored Skyscreamer mount. To earn it, you’ll need to complete a series of challenge-based achievements across the raid. Let’s break them down:

• This Side Up (Jin’rokh the Breaker) — kill him after all four pools have been electrified at least once.
• Cretaceous Collector (Horridon) — defeat Horridon after killing one of each species of dino in the encounter.
• Cage Match (Council of Elders) — win a match of Mogu’shan Vaults-Style combat by defeating all four council members within 10 seconds of each other.
• One-Up (Tortos) — defeat Tortos after kicking a shell into him while he’s spinning.
• Head Case (Megaera) — defeat Megaera without allowing two heads of the same element to die back-to-back.
• Soft Hands (Ji-Kun) — catch an egg mid-air and then defeat Ji-Kun.
• You Said Crossing the Streams Was Bad (Durumu the Forgotten) — defeat Durumu after having each player cross three different beams.
• Genetically Unmodified Organism (Primordius) — defeat him without any player gaining an Evolution buff.
• I Thought He Was Supposed to Be Hard? (Dark Animus) — defeat him without killing any small golems.
• Can’t Touch This (Iron Qon) — defeat Iron Qon without any raid member getting hit by fire tornadoes.
• From Dusk ‘til Dawn (Twin Consorts) — have Lu’lin and Suen cast Beast of Nightmares and Fan of Flames at least once before defeating them.
• A Complete Circuit (Lei Shen) — kill Lei Shen after powering each of his four conduits to maximum energy.
• Ritualist Who? (Ra-den – Heroic Only) — defeat Ra-den without killing any Ritualists.
